I took a little drive Saturday to get away from painting my house. I drove up the Popo Agie River ("Puh - Po Shuh" (two words)) above the "sink". The Popo Agie goes under ground for a short distance, it then returns to the surface. Pretty nice country.
The "But I like shooting suppressed .22lr" view. Mags got torn down and cleaned too.

Got skunked with the coyotes last night, but got to spend some time outside
I made a batch of hot sauce this morning. Mostly reaper and habanero with some extras for flavor. Not half bad. I'll continue to experiment.
So we had the youngest birthday party today….. his mom and I gave him this shirt. This is how we told the family.

Did some work on a project. Pulled a sporter 270 barrel. The viper barrel vice did pretty good. Started some reassembly after cerakote. Barrel is out being bead blasted. Hope to assemble next weekend.

This is a few days old, we’re home now, but I caught the last few rays of sun over Waikiki on our last vacation day. My wife is already making plans for another vacation…
Stuck my head in the clouds on today's exploration of crater lake.
Turned north today and took in a short hike by Mt Hood, kicked up some Elk in heavy timber (no pic) and later Multnomah Falls.
Strolled on up to Mount Rainier. Mama was a bit tuckered out from our hike yesterday so we stayed on the easy path today.
Hank's first pumpkin that he helped carve. I'll try to get a picture of Gus when he's done with his.

No foul in that! My kids had help until they quit wanting to do it, the were about 12/13 when it happened

My driveway is under this mess somewhere. Maple trees are a blessing and a curse in the fall. It's been raining for days so a fair amount of leaves are getting knocked down.
Same here. My wife found some young sucke…I mean, kid who’s raking leaves for like $30. That child labor is getting exploited this weekend sometime fo’ sho’
No leaves in sight here in south-central Alaska. Spent a couple nights out by the lake. Peaceful.

Son in Law has a youtube channel, XTForTheKing. While he just posted this video it was filmed from a couple of weeks ago. There is some beautiful country out there when you get to higher elevations and out of the desert.

See the 6 bolts? They hold the pinion carrier. They vibrated loose. No loc tite. 37,000 dollars of repair costs vs. 10 cents worth of blue loc tite.
