Definitely no HOA in that neighborhood, LOL. Libtards driving by that house on their way to work will require counseling for PTSD.
My brother gave me one of the plastic trump/pence signs back in 16.
I put it up out front beside the driveway.
My neighbor countered with a hilldabeast sign shortly afterwards.
We live in the country and my other neighbor has a shooting range and so do I.
That being said I was cutting the grass and noticed a .22 bullet hole in my sign.
I think the neighbor with the hilldabeast sign shot my sign.
My nephew gave me a trump 2020 flag, I’m flying that now.

What I find so funny is the offended thought the note was going to make a difference? Or the owner cares what they think?
For first time, ever, I displayed a 'Walker' sign in my rural front yard during the infamous recall election. Soon found a bullet hole in the side of my house. The following summer, was half asleep at night with the windows open when I heard a loud thump. Thinking it was another gunshot, I ran out of the house in my underwear carrying a .357. Saw a pickup stop down the road and turn around. Was convinced the shooter was coming back. Turns out it was my neighbors grandson, who had hit a deer in front of my house, and was coming back to check on it. They all must think i'm a lunatic(probably right!). This is what standing up for your candidate has come to, IF you're conservative.

Got it. So it's not tacky for someone to write an admonishing note to a homeowner who is doing something well within their rights, but tacky for said homeowner to keep doing something well within their rights. Makes sense.
I am certainly not defending the letter’s author, nor am I questioning the homeowner’s rights. Why does it always turn into an accusation of someone’s rights being denied?
At least the letter’s author, as cowardly and trite as they may be, expressed their discourse in a private letter. I am more reacting to the garish display of the homeowner’s adult onset tantrum. Glad he’s not my neighbor.
Not once did I say the homeowners rights were being denied you added that observation. I merely pointed out he is not breaking any laws by doing what he is doing.....100% his prerogative to display Trump wares whether it's one flag or a dozen. The letter writer apparently can't handle seeing a political opponents advertising so they take an anonymous stab at shaming the homeowner. Unfortunately for him the neighborhood isn't Cal Berkeley where they can silence the opposition if it doesn't settle well with them.
A friend back in FL (#FuckFlorida) wears his "Fuck Trump" hat everywhere, including at his VA appointments. I told him that's one place he shouldn't wear it, not because of patients but because of the staff/facility policies, but he continues to do so. From the stories he tells, there are some pretty sensitive children "on both sides" lol. I still just shake my head every time he tells me about "how he pissed someone off" or "got a thumbs up or compliment about it" 
I'll never understand why people get pissed off because someone has ______ in their yard/on their vehicle/on their body. Sure, we are protected by the 1st from the govt dictating/reacting (within "reason") but there's zero reason for any American to get upset that another American has a differing point of view. I need to get a red hat with white lettering that says "OK Boomer" on it. All the ones I'm finding aren't the same font style as the Trump MAGA hat, which makes it pointless. I figured I'd wear it as a range hat, but still no luck. That way I can point to it every time some dude starts talking to me about millennials/liberals/Trump/Obama/MOA/SFP scopes/and how he shoots "sub MOA all day" out of the exact DPMS AR he carried in Nam while barely holding "Minute of Target Backer" at 25yds.

If the homeowner received such a letter, and flew the Israeli flag in response, I’d be fine with it. If they went full retard with their garish display, yes I’d call it tacky.
In the same thread, if this homeowner had a trump sign/flag in a window, someone sent an objecting letter, and the home owner proudly flew *a* trump flag off the front porch then I wouldn’t call it tacky. Hell strike it up a flagpole in the yard.
