Very. But that's the point.Tacky.
I agree it was tacky to send the homeowner a note.Tacky.
I agree it was tacky to send the homeowner a note.
Got it. So it's not tacky for someone to write an admonishing note to a homeowner who is doing something well within their rights, but tacky for said homeowner to keep doing something well within their rights. Makes sense.Tacky.
I wasn’t commenting on the letter, or it's author, but rather the homeowner’s tacky response to it.
I can’t wait to proudly display my Giant Meteor 2020 sign in the yard. As it stands, I’ll vote for a global mass extinction over the dog-shit candidates being presented as our options.
Arken generator?
Tacky.

Yeah, it's really gonna suck.
You should end it all now.
Not once did I say the homeowners rights were being denied you added that observation. I merely pointed out he is not breaking any laws by doing what he is doing.....100% his prerogative to display Trump wares whether it's one flag or a dozen. The letter writer apparently can't handle seeing a political opponents advertising so they take an anonymous stab at shaming the homeowner. Unfortunately for him the neighborhood isn't Cal Berkeley where they can silence the opposition if it doesn't settle well with them.I am certainly not defending the letter’s author, nor am I questioning the homeowner’s rights. Why does it always turn into an accusation of someone’s rights being denied?
At least the letter’s author, as cowardly and trite as they may be, expressed their discourse in a private letter. I am more reacting to the garish display of the homeowner’s adult onset tantrum. Glad he’s not my neighbor.
A friend back in FL (#FuckFlorida) wears his "Fuck Trump" hat everywhere, including at his VA appointments. I told him that's one place he shouldn't wear it, not because of patients but because of the staff/facility policies, but he continues to do so. From the stories he tells, there are some pretty sensitive children "on both sides" lol. I still just shake my head every time he tells me about "how he pissed someone off" or "got a thumbs up or compliment about it"
I'll never understand why people get pissed off because someone has ______ in their yard/on their vehicle/on their body. Sure, we are protected by the 1st from the govt dictating/reacting (within "reason") but there's zero reason for any American to get upset that another American has a differing point of view. Liberal, conservative, gay, straight, 308 shooters, weirdos shooting 6mm variants, etc. That being said, there's one thing we can all rally against and isn't protected under the 1st... The wearing/brandishing of punisher skulls.
I need to get a red hat with white lettering that says "OK Boomer" on it. All the ones I'm finding aren't the same font style as the Trump MAGA hat, which makes it pointless. I figured I'd wear it as a range hat, but still no luck. That way I can point to it every time some dude starts talking to me about millennials/liberals/Trump/Obama/MOA/SFP scopes/and how he shoots "sub MOA all day" out of the exact DPMS AR he carried in Nam while barely holding "Minute of Target Backer" at 25yds.
Thank you for voting for gun control. You don’t belong on a gun site.Tacky.

This one will have the same effect:Tacky.

Blah blah blah orange man bad. Fuck the Supreme Court who needs that
Calm down killer.Differing points of view?
This isn’t I like orange and they like purple.
This is them voting to steal your money, take away your god given rights and import Muslims to rape your women and bomb your people.
Gtfo of here with that zero reason to be upset bs.

If the leftist who left the note had written some sort of typical leftist anti-Semitic rhetoric you would probably be objecting to the homeowner flying the Israeli flag.
Offering an unwanted leftist opinion was tacky as hell.........................................the commie did it anyway.
Welcome to lib logic 101.....if you can call that logic.....I can'tGot it. So it's not tacky for someone to write an admonishing note to a homeowner who is doing something well within their rights, but tacky for said homeowner to keep doing something well within their rights. Makes sense.
referring to the DEM candidates as 'dog shit' is an insult to my dog.Tacky.

Wow, making a whole bunch of leaps in this one.
Why so much hate? Life is too short to harbor so much anger.
Taking a walk in your scenario:
If the homeowner received such a letter, and flew the Israeli flag in response, I’d be fine with it. If they went full retard with their garish display, yes I’d call it tacky.
In the same thread, if this homeowner had a trump sign/flag in a window, someone sent an objecting letter, and the home owner proudly flew *a* trump flag off the front porch then I wouldn’t call it tacky. Hell strike it up a flagpole in the yard.
Tacky is when the bandwagon vomits all over the yard to “prove a point”.

What makes you so sure it was a Leftist who wrote the note? Trump isn't all that popular with Republicans either considering he's a RINO and is anti-gun.
Political views aside, I have to agree the house looks tacky as fuck! No different than people who get way too carried away with their Christmas decorations each year.
Mitt??????? Is that you????? I didn't know you posted here.![]()
Oh yeah, I'm such a Mormon.![]()
Must be a typo, you have one to many M's in that word.
Poor English skills is the least of their problems. What hate? I'm simply pointing out your hatred and intolerance of a Trump supporter.
You are trying the classic lefty move of getting all accusatory and nasty towards people who are simply observing your intolerance and pointing it out.
You refuse to Capitalize the word, "Trump". The word is a proper noun because it is a person's name. So you are either an idiot or an intolerant leftist loser. Which is it?

If you must resort to pettiness and snarky sarcasm you might consider doing the same. You are trying the classic move of getting all accusatory and nasty towards people who are simply observing your intolerance and pointing it out.
I couldn’t have described your position in this discussion better myself. Thank you for that.
You are using some strong words, hatred, intolerance, yet your only evidence is what, my unintentional omission of a capitol T? I thought it was universally understood that grammar attacks were the tactics of the feeble minded and losing position. Come on man, you can do much better than that... I hope.
If this is the extent of your argumentative effort, might I suggest breaking contact?
Tacky.
