Finally ran out of my last purchase of 115gr boron nitride coated 6mm bullets. Been waiting for almost a year for them to be for sale again from Superior Shooting Systems. I contacted them by phone last november and they said likely 4 months before they would put them up on the SSS website again. Haven't heard squat since. Does anyone know any more information on when they might be available or even if they will be produced for online order anymore? I can always switch to another bullet but that means working up a new load, and besides, that bullet worked so dang well! If its just a few more months wait, its worth it but if its another year... I gotta swap bullets....

Did not think to ask (G. David T.) about DTACs when I saw him back in April.

But I still have several on hand in bulk, (and about 600 loaded), so let me know if you need a hundred or two to get you through your matches and we will work something out.

How do these Nosler's shoot? And in what rifle are you shooting them?

They're shooting very well for me, but I haven't pushed them past 300 yards. I know, I know.... Just haven't had much time to drive out to the desert. The 100 yard groups are every bit as tight as the DTACs -- maybe ever so slightly tighter with my Varget load. Now I'm out of Varget, though.... I like the Nosler 105's better than the Hornady 105 HPBTs.

I'm shooting them in a 6XC Savage build, Pac-Nor barrel, 25", 1:7.5". Over 35.2gr Varget or 39.1gr of AA4350, if I remember correctly. They don't seem to mind being jumped .060", either.

I shot the Noslers in my 6 Creed over RE17 when I first got the rifle and they were terrible, maybe my next 6 Creed will like them better, course I never did try them with H4350. The Hor 105 HPBTs love H4350, maybe the Noslers will too.

Thanks for the intel. I guess they have my number screened because I couldn't get a hold of them. Looking forward to shooting them again. 105 amax are very accurate in my gun....right up till the start failing... I've got a lower pressure recipe now but still like the DTACs better.

Got my own update. Just got off the phone with them, now prediction is that the DTACs will be available for order in "January or February".... the wait continues......

I like the 105 moly amax, they shoot great through my gun but I'm also not pushing them that hard. I haven't tried the DTACs yet but I have a box of 500 to try and see how they work.

I've tried HBN coating my A-max's. That helped some, had to reduce the load also and that helped a lot. They group real nice but the velocity isnt what you'd hope to get out of a 6mmAI. The DTACs hold together just fine.
