I prefer the foam insulation solid sheet. Doesn't disintegrate as fast as other media I have tried. I forget the real name for this type of insulation board. Stuff lasts forever
second on the election signs; most come with a metal stand to stick them in the ground . for hard or frozen ground, make a base out 2x4s to stick the sign holder in.Election posters are the plastic board stuff free and they need to be gone .
The sheets at HD are back in the area that has replacement glass and plastic sheets. Thanks for the help guys. I walked around Home Depot but didn’t think about the sign area. I bought a sheet of thin plywood to use this weekend but know it won’t last long.
This is exactly what I do. Have a 'stock' in the rafters of the garage as my 'go-to' whenever I need them. Civil service. An easy way is to collect election signs (after the election, of course) and cut as needed, provided you have a place to store the supply.
