Re: Which Anschutz 22 l/r should I be looking for?
I have a 64 MPR and use it for position training. It will shoot incredibly tiny groups when I do my part, so I know when it doesn't it is MY fault. I use both iron sights and scope so I get practice with both. The stock is full size and has provisions for hand stop and flushcup style sling attach. It also comes with an excellent adjustable 2 stage trigger in the ounces.
I had a winny 52 prior to this rifle and this is the only one I found that could equal that fine old rifle. The only reason I went to this was because it is easy to go from iron to scope and back. So during training or comp. I could carry one less rifle, plus money invested in a complete second rifle for scoped etc. saved. In my opinion you can't go wrong with an Anschutz, never seen one that was a bad shooter.
