Almost possitive this come out of a 1968-69 yr model Anschutz 54 Super Match, Free style rifle.
It will go down to the ounces in pull weight.
I'm not sure wich model # this particlar one is, 1407-U9, 5018? 5017?

Re: Which Anschutz trigger is this?

Your trigger is definitely not a 5018 trigger. That is the modern triggers used in 18xx, 19xx, and 20xx series rifles.

I have never heard of the 5017 trigger. Maybe you are talking about the 5071 trigger? If that is the case your trigger is definitely not that one either. 5071 triggers look exactly the same as the 5018 trigger since it is the precursor to the 5018 trigger. This trigger was used in the 14xx transitional series rifles also known as the (16xx series rifles). The only difference I know of between the 5071 and the 5018 trigger is the sear is shapped a little differently. The bolts on the 16xx series rifles are slotted thus exposing the firing pin.

It looks like a 1407-U9 trigger however there is couple of parts that differ from the diagram of a 1407-U9 trigger (1407-U9 diagram does not show the part marked with the white arrow) as well as the groove U shaped cut out seen on the top of your trigger, everythingelse about the trigger is exactly the same.

I know this trigger come out of an earlier model late 60'and maybe earlier, not the later model Annie.

May be a 1407-U1, also known as the, hair trigger </div></div>

What is the trigger pull weight of your trigger? Looking at the design it is definitely a two stage trigger. I did some looking at the older manuals that I have access to in the form of PDFs and can not find a 1407-U1 trigger anywhere. There is however a 1408-U1 trigger. It is a two stage trigger with the 1408 trigger housing. I suspect that the trigger you have is the 1408-U1 trigger. The "hair trigger" was the 1407-U9 trigger because of its 2 stage design it can be adjusted to really low pull weights.
