Which CZ?

Looking to get a .22 LR that I can drop into a MDT chassis likely and then use a XLR buttstock or similar to be able to dial LOP down to 10" to 14" so it can be adjusted from kiddos to adults.

I am tired of waiting on the phantom Tikka T1X model to materialize so looking at other options.

So if you had to chose with that in mind which CZ model would you suggest.

Oh and I'd like to use the TBAC 22 takedown on it as well.

If you are going to drop it into a chassis try and get the least expensive like the 455 American or even the Tacticool and sell the stock.

I bought the Tacticool and sold the stock after getting a deal on a Manners that was pillared and bedded on eBay so I still ended up paying about the same price as the trainer maybe $50 less after selling the Tacticool stock.

Check the classifieds on here there was someone just selling the barreled action but it is a 17hmr.

I got the 455 with the basic stock and threaded barrel. That’s really all you need if your going to put it in a chassis. Or if you can find a deal on the tacticool, buy that and sell the stock.

If you don't want a threaded muzzle, get a 455 Varmint and drop it into a chassis. If you want a threaded muzzle, spend just a bit more and get the Tacticool.

If I was going to assemble a chassis,
I'd start with a CZ 455 stainless.
Sell the stock, barrel and trigger.
Install a Rifle Basix trigger, polish the firing pin,
and order a stainless match barrel blank.
Have the barrel indexed, then fit to the receiver.
Headspace will be right, tenon glued in.
Barrel oriented to produce best results.
Once installed into the chassis, it would be an accurate rig.
