Which dies?

I have a 4 hole lee classic turret press that i load pistol and 5.56. I want to start loading for 6.5 cm and will be buying a forster when i have the money but will have to use what i got right now. Which dies should i purchase or a better question i guess is which do you prefer?

I use Redding bushing dies. I like the Forster micrometer seater dies too.

I would go with Redding dies first.

Right now I'm running Redding FL sizer with the competition seater. I've also used Forster dies. I think the Forster are every bit as good as the Redding for almost 1/2 the price but they can be hard to find at times

Redding, Forester, RCBS, Hornady, Lee. I have successfully used them all, and had examples of each that needed polished. I like the Hornady lock rings beast, but have broken more recapping pins and zip kits than with others. The Redding, Forester, and RCBS all have much more substantial de-capping fixtures.

I've used them all and only use Forster for a while now. When using the Forster FL sizing die with its high expander ball and their Micrometer seating die runout is consistently .001" or less. I have and use this same setup in 6 or more calibers with the same results every time.

^^this x2. The Foster Ultra Micrometer also comes with a VLD seating stem installed already. This is an extra cost and a pain to track down with some of the other brands.

I like Redding bushing and competition micrometer seating or the RCBS micrometer seating.
