Given the inconsistency of the current political winds, I'm thinking that stashing away a spare AR15 lower, might be a prudent thing to do. Not interested in the pop culture engraving, just a plain jane, black anodized lower. Want to stay below $100. What's the best bang for the buck out there?

Get like 2 or 3 PSA. They are cheap on sale and as long as you use a quality LPK you will be good.

I have several ( 6), including 2 that i have SBRed. None of them have any issues. I also have several Anderson Arms lowers. None have had a problem. I also have 2 of those that are SBRed.

Sionics, Aero, White label armory

Basically most stripped lowers are from $29-$75. I bought a shit load of Soinics lowers when they had a good sale.

Or you could catch PSA when they do the $399 AR sale again. That pretty much stela’s the cake.

A buddy bought 10 last time lol.

PSA on their website is 49.95 but I've seen them on sale for less than that. PSA has up to 6% cash back on activejunky.
Anderson from primary arms is at 39.95 and 39.99 at aimsurplus.
Disclaimer: I don't have experience using these lowers.

Stop being poor. Buy a knights.....

Spoken on behalf of @TheGerman as he is out trying to was the sand outta his vag.

I have had LWRC, Colt, CMMG, Aero, anderson, and some others. Never an issue with any of them. .

Probably like the Aero features the most.
Looking at an ambi lower from them.

I have PSA, Aero, RRA, QC10(9mm), Essential Arms and Parabellun Armormant. Aero is as nice as any of them. PSA is fine too, but for a fee more bucks(if possible) I'd get an Aero. For PCC, I vote QC10.... super nice.

Noveske and KAC and I'd also consider the Noveske gen. 2's --like an updated forged lower IMO. LMT is nice too, don't come stripped but does come with SOPMOD stocks and one of the best buffer tubes.

I go factory direct or Small Arms Sales.

Aim Surplus burned me on FAL mags along with Sportsman Warehouse so I don't use either of those for anything anymore. If I want rusted junk or counterfeit mags I'll just go search for "genuine like new magazines" on ebay.

Noreen lowers buy at aim surplus.

I had 2 noreen lowers and both had issues.... one they didnt drill the holes for the takedown pin detents and the other they all the detent holes were clogged full of aluminum shavings, as well as a few other problems with fitting up to a bcm upper. I reached out to their c/s who was less than helpful.
I've built several off psa and aero lowers and havent had issues with them, my next build will be a noveske or maybe falkor set.

I buy 80% lower and finish them myself on the mill but aero are good to go, a couple buddies bought a few of those and built just fine. This day and age if a company cannot make a good AR lower they won’t stay in biz very long at all.
