Rifle Scopes Which Super Sniper

Ok I have narrowed it down to getting s SS to start with. I am trying to figure out which one to go with. I see the one with the side focus and and the rest being rear focus and all of them are mil dot reticals.

I have been hearing some good things about the HD model they have and was thinking about that but I am not really sure about it.

I have never really used a scope for long range shooting and I am still learning this long range shooting stuff. That is one reason I am going with the SS for my first scope.

I am also trying to narrow it down to what I want to shoot with the MIL/MIL or MOA/MOA. I have gotten used to doing MOA being in the military and always using those adjustments when using and zeroing CCO's and ACOG's, that and just using the hold over method for targets at different ranges with the CCO's and BCD's with the ACOG's.

Any info or help any of you guys can give I would like to hear and hopefully that will help me lower my choice down even more as to which one to go with.

I was looking at that one also. I am leaving my options open as to some other scopes but I can not afford anything over $1000.00 that and I a looking for a good stock to finish building my rifle with when I get back from Iraq in April.

I went by SWFA and looked at the HD version and the regular. I would highly recommend either. I wound up getting a 10x regular and a 3-9 instead of the HD. I just didn't see a big difference except for mil/mil adj. I have shot out to 800 with the 10X and am crazy happy. If I was you I would get the regular 10x and go from there. You will not be disappointed. If you need variable get the 3-9 again you will be extremely happy.

The super snipers are the shit in their price range. You are truly getting a much more expensive quality scope for little money. Get them while you still can.

Thanks The more I look at them the more I am not even thinking of the HD model. I am still leaning towards the SS unless I can find something a little better under my price range, as I am also looking for a good stock also.

If you call them I think they will give you the package deal. When I went there I mentioned it and walked out with it.

I haven't been able to look through a SS but I just got my Falcon Menace 5.5-25x50 and I love it. I know there are much better scopes out there but for $475 I am very pleased. Not to mention it comes in FFP. I know quite a few others that own a Falcon and would agree. I think they have a 4-14 that you might like.

Yeah I am going to go with a SS 10x42 but am trying to decide if I want the rear focus or the side focus. I am trying to figure out which kit I need to get to go with the package deal. Also do you guys have any .MIL discounts by any chance?

Hey no problem is don't hurt to check. Iwas wondering how that SS HD model is though as I have been eyeing that one to. I am deciding bewtween the 10x42 with side focus or the HD model.

I have had a SS 10x side focus for a couple of yrs. It's an excellent scope. Hope to get a 3X9 SS to replace a cheaper scope I have on a LTR .223.

You put your eye to it. Should offer some cushion in the event eye relief and cheek weld demand that you are too close to the ocular lens and you get scope bit. Could also block out light.

Though I have not looked through the HD model, its on good authority (lowlight) that it is better than alot of Mark 4's that are coming outta luppy nowa days. Also the fact that its MIL/MIL is huge and a big advantage for spoting your misses and making the adjustments without all the math. If thats in your budget I doubt you will be disapointed and if not the others are all top notch for the price point.
