I've got my dealer looking for me a TRP. I told him I wanted the operator 3/4 rail. Is the rail the way to go? The bull barrel is going to make field stripping harder. Is there any advantage to the bull barrel over the bushing?

I have the loaded operator with the 3/4 rail. What does the TRP have that's different?
Some food for thought, if memory serves you cannot use bull barrel setups in IDPA. So if that is a future goal, I would opt for another version. Personally, if it was me and it was an occasional plinker/nostalgia piece...I would just search for a full rail TRP.
Man I love the TRP operators. Once I finish my 308 build one of these will be next. So hard to decide between a full rail and 3/4, they both look great.
My vote goes to the full rail I Ditched the bull barrel for a Storm Lake Threaded barrel, with custom egw bushing and plug so I can strip it easier. Was one of my better choices, and now I await a 45 osprey to complete it.
