Ronnie James Dio passed away, he had ten time the voice, more albums, was more instrumental in the music biz, produce a ton of other acts, plus put together that whole heavy metal feel good charity thing for africa back in the day.

hardly a peep was heard - and he wasn't a crackhead.

but in the end we all know their names - chances are they don't know any of ours. so feelin bad for a dead celebrity? especially those that basically caused their own downfall?

Not forgotten man. I just finished "Lone Survivor", and Lt. Murphy's book. Both were very good. Gotta say, Marcus was pretty stand up in his book with regards to Murphy. Great reads, recommend them both.
