All I had time for yesterday was about two hours of drills running an Aimpoint Comp C and Trijicon Accupower 1-4X back to back on the same carbine.
Recently bought the Trijicon but I'm still not sold on its reticle. Seems too busy at inside the house distances and it's definitely not daylight bright.
5 yd up drills on 1.5" circles: Aimpoint (0.1 sec faster average)
5 yd double tap drills on 3x5 cards: Aimpoint (0.08 sec faster average)
3 yd transitions at 7 yds: tie
10 rounds on 9" paper plate at 100 yds: Aimpoint
10 rounds on 9" paper plate at 170 yds: Trijicon
If Trijicon had eliminated the segmented circle and all the stadia lines except the BDC, enlarged the center dot to 2 MOA, and lit it up daylight bright, that Accupower would be unbeatable. The timer doesn't lie though.
I might keep it for a build or sell it to buy a 1-4X Accupoint (tritium/fiber optic). In the meantime, I'll roll with the red dot which is easier to use for this carbine's primary purpose and still lets me nail a torso sized target inside 250 yards with relative ease.
