Honestly, if you handed this out to A-10 drivers, and made them actually color it all in, it would drive the target areas and ungood areas home forever.

I did not know there were any areas of a T-72 that the GAU8/A could not penetrate. I always thought it's 6,000gr API pill moving 3,000+ fps with a muzzle energy of 200 kilojoules (which is, roughly, 147,512 Foot Pounds...) would penetrate anywhere on an T-72. Then again a 2 sec burst is around 4,000 rounds, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

You,re right. 130 rounds in 2 seconds. 1,170 rounds in the magazine. 18 second burst to empty.

GAU - 8 Avenger: Absolute BEAST of a powerhouse... Just to think, in the very early days of WWII, 30mm was the main gun caliber of various light and medium TANKS used around the world. And here we got an iron dragon spitting out a hailstorm of 30mms on a run...
