I shot my buddy's SPS 20" barreled rifle in .308 today and I loved it. Anyone of the Hide sponsors have some good deals on these? If the price is right I'll consider one in .223 and .308.

I was told that only Remington premier dealers get them and very few of them in my area qualify. In addition to that detail, they were in very short supply even to the Premier dealers/distriubtors to the extent that the three dealrs I asked to order me one have still not informed me of their availability.
Instead of a backup for my SPS tac being another SPS Tac, i bought a Savage 10 FCP so I can still shoot .308 when my barrel finally has to be replaced.
The SPS tactical is a great rifle for the money and I look forward to picking up another one day.

Thanks just putting the feelers out in case someone can get a deal on them. Right now I can get them locally for around 575 I think. Will confirm that tomorrow or the next day. I'd like to do better of course and give my business to someone that supports the hide.

I don't think Bud's ships to NY state any longer so screw them.
