Rifle Scopes Who's Waiting for the new Sightron SIII?

Just wondering if there is a big line up for the 2011 SIII. I really like what they have done (as far as pictures go). I have a Sightron SIII 6-24X50 LRD, that I bought a year ago and really like the glass and it makes a great scope for my coyote calling rig. However, although the turrets aren't that bad, they are probably my only partial complaint, but that comes from using NightForce turrets and not a fair comparison.

So, bottom line....I'm really excited to check out and maybe even order a new 2011 model.

I am waiting for them to appear. I have never had 1 but i hear alot of good things about them. I want to get 1 of the 2.5 x 10 i believe in the new retical MOA-MOA for a short 18 inch build i am having done.

I'm thinking about picking up one of the new 6-24x50's when they hit the shelves. Just like everything else thouogh, it's going to depend on the final price point.

The new 2011 Sightron SIII rifle scopes look like one hell of a deal for the options offered. Looking forward to some reviews when they start to ship.

I been using an 8-32 for last year and a half. Love it! Looking forward to the 2011's. Im in for 2 more.

HI Scott,
I looked at the Sightron website & it appears that the newest SIII mil/mil offerings are NOT illuminated, but the new MOA reticle versions are illuminated?
I realize that the pictures on their site have not been updated since the new mrad turrets are not accurately depicted.
So can ya hook a brutha up & clarify if the SIII 3.5-10x44 mil/mil will have a lit reticle?

i wish their mil reticle was more like the moa or an mp8,a regular mil dot reticle is coarse in a 24x scope.

That 1-7 they showed certainly got me interested. Likely to be a hot commodity at the price point they are aiming at.
