Love to hear more about that lecture.
Back in '78 or 79 I was attending IOBC at the Bening School for Boys. I was looking for a table in the Cafeteria to eat my dinner. Ended up setting with two officers, one from Israel, one from Jordan. Good naturedly, they were "re-fighting" the '73 war. I ended up skipping some classes to listen to these guys, it was real interesting.
Apparently the Russians were real up with the Arabs, they gave them thousands upon thousand of sagger AT missiles. The arabs didn't try to guide them, they were using them as "fire and forget" AT Missiles. The biggest problem the Israel armor had with the saggers is there were sole many wires all over the battle field, the antennas on the Israeli tanks were streaming them like they were decorations, interfering with commo.
There was a lot, "Next time we're gonna". I forgot most of the conversation, I'd love to have taped it.
Sorry to get off topic, it's Kumssack's fault.
