I don't see the coming gun regulations to be a bad thing. In fact, I see them as a chance for gun manufacturers to truly begin innovating again, instead of making derivative ARs over and over again. Can you imagine the variability we'll see in design when we have to get around threaded barrels, telescoping stocks, handguards, pistol grips, flash hiders, DBM restrictions, and the color black?
Not to mention the legal hooplah we are about to witness for Grandfathered items and unconstitutional acts to confiscate them. It'll be like the period when the 18th Amendment was added eventually followed by the 21st amendment. There may be some municipalities that try to enforce these bans hardcore but I suspect when many home owners are acquitted of murder charges of SWATters, enforcement will become nil.

I think first; you will have to define "breakfast".
Some folks work the graveyard shift. Some motels have the breakfast bar open until 8:00 AM - some until 9:00 AM. Exactly when is "breakfast"? Does "brunch" qualify as a "breakfast", if you don't eat "dinner" (or is it "lunch")?
Finish that part - and then we will determine, if a brownie is a "cake". Would angel food cake be OK? (probably not - religion and all). I suppose cookies might be an option.

Your first few words are the crux of the matter...2A is framed in the context of a militia which was a collection of people. Much of the arguments against 2A is its applicability to the individual. Not a lawyer so I may have it wrong as well but I have read this many times. SCOTUS won't hear any cases relative to the applicability of 2A at an individual level

The intent of 2A is not in question. That is not what my post was about at all. I agree that the intent is to protect our rights against ALL enemies foreign and domestic.
The point I was making is that the courts, including SCOTUS, have not heard the relevance and applicability of 2A at the individual level.
All you can do is help the ones who are open minded. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. The ones that won't drink will have to learn the hard way someday. My experience with talking to leftist is that they don't want to listen. In this area I have two friends that are moderate liberals that now (now as in the last 3 years) own plenty of guns and shoot regularly, all due to me introducing them to the sport and teaching them anything they wanted to know as unbiased as I could. I am still not sure one of them would vote the right way for the next president, but he will think about it a lot more now.
