I don't see many people seriously wearing them here anymore, and I live in pretty liberal (by my and by census standards) town. Not "pink hair liberal", more like "we like to inhale our own farts in our new Mercedes-Benz because they smell better than everyone else's" liberals.
Only people still wearing them here are a portion of the elderly and black people who seem to think they are being cool by hiding their faces in public. Not sure how it was during the pandemic because i lived out in the middle of nowhere where nobody wore masks, in stores or otherwise, even where there were signs stating they were to be worn.

One of the most difficult particle sizes to filter is 0.1 micron, which is the average size of the Sars Cov 2 virus. Masks do not not effectively filter and that isn't even taking into account they do not form a seal around your face.

Handy tip Pretorian. The best procedure for a mask is to lay it out flat on a table, fold it in half lengthwise, roll it up tightly and tie it off with the strings. At that point you are ready to bend over and shove that fucking thing right up your sheeple ass.
One thing that always struck me as odd was, why could your mask soiled with the plague just be tossed in an open air receptacle? Why no biohazard bins anywhere? My employer couldn't answer it either when they tried to strong-arm me into wearing one.

I was at the hospital Friday for an appointment and while I was seeing my provider my wife was in an area where you don’t need a mask and can do whatever you want. A Dr and his friend sat down by her and the friend was surprised they were allowed to not have a mask. The Dr replied that there’s also unspoken areas where staff isn’t wearing a mask. He also said that they did a their own study of their hospital system locally and the surrounding areas they service with clinics and found that masks don’t work. He said that the hospital CEO is political and is enforcing the mask wearing and the sad part is that there is still staff that is scared to death of Chynavirus.

I still have the one box of masks I bought in March 2020. Might need them if I have to do any sanding.
Once the water surrounding the viral particle evaporates the viron dries out and dies. Not sure how long after the particle dries it dies but that's what I was told (never researched it).
