This is actually pretty old news.

It's been widely known that Israel had a robust nuclear program and that the South Africans also had one and they were both working together.
It's also widely known that the USA knew about Israel and their nuclear program almost from the beginning and the agreement was, you don't publicly say you have nukes, we don't publicly say naughty you.

The Hypocrisy of the NPT is blatant, basically those with the bomb got together and said we will be top dogs, run the UN and have permanent veto power over the rest of the world and oh the rest of you saps better not join the club...

Eventually however the technology will advance to where any country that really wants it can go for it and eventually the big bullies will wake up in a world where they can't be as blatant bullies anymore because everybody who feels threatened has something to party with, even if it's simply to blow up in the event of invasion.

Look at NK and how they made the decision the only way to guarantee their independence was to get nukes and how quickly they were able to do so once the decision was made. Lots of countries have the capability to make fun stuff if they decide they have to.

India and Pakistan have had Nukes for quite some time and it really hasn't been an issue, even the dire warnings of end of the world if NK got nukes were proven to be false.

I would expect if some other Arab states go Nuclear openly, then Israel goes openly Nuclear and that actually brings peace and stability as everybody realizes the rhetoric of wiping the other guy out is probably pointless for good.

I respect your position with the caveat that one needs to be diligent and thorough in there interpretation and where they get their info.

Ive heard pastors say anything from:

-"This is the inspired word"

-"This is the absolute infallible word"

(holding the Bible in their hand and shaking it)

-"This IS God because it is his word."

Depending on which of those you choose to incorporate into your belief, your outlook can be very different. Personally I feel it inspired but far from infallible.

Is one speaking of the 'Spiritual' Israel, or the fleshly one. Im going to leave it there as I really dont want to get into a discussion on the validity of the current physical 'political' nation of Israel.

I didnt mention it but I agree, and from how many languages, Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, etc. Thats why we need to be careful and seek wisdom as well as knowledge.

People of our disposition know Israel has had nukes for awhile.

Officially it's not really spoken of nor does it commonly make the news.

Maybe it's a one off......let's see if there is more to come.

The Bible actually references books that are no longer in the bible, but used to be in the bible, telling you to finish the rest of that history just go read xxx book (which is no longer in the bible).
