Gunsmithing Winchester 70 Pre 64

I am needing specs on the barrel Carlos Hathcock used on his Win Model 70, in Vietnam.Ive got a pre 64 Model 70 that i would like to pattern after Carlos rifle. Mainly needing barrel length, and diameter at the muzzle. Any help is appreciated

That 8X Unertl will be the tough part. I always heard it was just a heavy profile factory 06'

Texas Brigade Armory was building these a bit ago but has since stopped. You may want to reach out to them an find out the dimensions of the barrel they used (I believe it was a 24" Douglas in medium/heavy contour).

Thanks for the info,contacted Texas Brigade Armory and obtained the specs. They are still building these on your supplied Model 70
