That's not true at all. I'll be watching Gymnastics. It's the only sport I'm going to watch of these screwed up Olympics. My daughter has 3 State Championships and 1 State Runner-up in Gymnastics. All this after breaking her leg in gymnastics in the 8th grade. It's part of our life. If you knew the dedication and sacrifices these girls and their families make to get to this point, you would be in awe of these "half naked 14y/o kids."
Plus, I want to see how bad the IOC screws Simone Biles in these games. There is nobody even in her league, but the IOC is going to reduce her scores to bring her in line to the other girls that couldn't even do half the stuff that she does. Head to head, the rest of the world has no chance against her.
I know it wouldn’t be fair to some of the athletes but I wouldn’t walk to my mailbox to watch one single event. I wrestled in Jr. college so I know a bit about competing but the entire platform of the Olympics could dry up and go away and I wouldn’t bat an eye.
