Hunting & Fishing WT BUCK DOWN

Spotted a few tails going into the bush on the way home from the range, so I decided to park around the corner and hike back along the ridge. Sat down in a nice spot overlooking the field and out of the blue walks this deer. I popped my 14 power scope with my Sako 3006 Finlite underneath it and my first Second and third thought was .....Horns......200 yds......send that 165 gr Hornady SST. Took him through both shoulders and he was lucky to make it 30 yds.

Nice job.

Maybe its the lighting, or lack there of, but the antlers on that buck seem dark.

nice big bodied deer...looks like a lot of great meat to eat - yummy
