And it goes to the popular vote of all 50 states. So essentially states like California and New York will be doing the voting for Virginia. So after all this shit currently going on if Virginia voted republican and the popular vote was democrat essentially Virginia would vote to elect a Democrat even if the people they represent say otherwise???

Everyone I know keeps saying that this will be challenged. I don’t think it will as there are already a handful of other states doing this, correct? If it wasn’t challenged already then it’s not likely to be challenged now.

The democrats were all about the electoral college when it worked in their favour, but the past couple elections they figured out that if they just shredded some more of the constitution then well they could guarantee a win for them.

Pretty much the states run by Communists and their stooges are full on saying let's shred the constitution and make our citizen's votes meaningless because that will be better for the Communist Party.

And the stupid sheep lap it up and beg for more.

Let's see how they like it when nobody bothers to even come campaign in their state anymore because well, no point, you just have to win 6 other states and good to go.

This is very true. I have gotten to met so many great Virginians as a result of this crisis. The people of this Commonwealth are amazing. We have been badly ambushed however, and need help. TIC! TIC! TIC!

If the rest of the body was to refuse to provide the cancer areas with food, water, transport in or out, the cancer would die off pretty quickly.
Cancers grow and kill the body because the rest of the body still does it's job and provides the food, water, blood transport etc.

It's not as if there isn't precedent. Germany and France saw the dissolution of their republics and the rise of dictators in their place. As did Rome before them. And while it didn't go so well in Germany, the Caesars and Napoleon paved the way out of the post-Republic shitfest and brought their nations up...

Even people at my workplace that don't care about high capacity mags being banned are taking notice of this crap of a bill. Certainly will be a dead weight around the necks of dems that support it with rural voters.

Wait a second, so this essentially means that every vote in Virginia is useless. What you vote doesn’t matter. There are other states that already have this? This might be the stupidest thing I’ve heard in a while.

Most people today are ignorant on the subject of voting in the US and how the electoral college is designed to work

Most think popular vote is the best way to run everything as they don't think past surface level (critical thought is dead amoung young people, it's too much work)

In Virginia today, one of the Republican senators received a response from the Dem leader in regards to a letter asking why her bills were not on the docket (including one stripping the governor's security detail). The reply stated that she was upset that house and senate members had been called out on social media in regards to their support for anti 2A bills. Apparently this has led to a negative outpouring from the public. Strange.

Do you think the constituents that voted for the republican senator have counted votes when their elected official can't even introduce a bill?

Maybe next time they'll vote even harder.

Well it's not like whomever is the loser of the 2020 election is going to accept the result anyway. Democrats have destroyed the rule of law, and the polarization in the Country is way past the point of differences being able to be settled by elections.

So, they are effectively telling Virginia voters, "your vote doesn't count." No matter how you vote, we're going to go with how EVERYONE ELSE voted (in the rest of the country).

What could possibly go wrong here? What possible reactions might come (from citizens) if their will (vote) is cancelled out?

I have found in my many years that there is no way to get a lib to comprehend the facts. Facts are kryptonite to them. I have pointed out their hypocrisy and out right lies. They look like a calf at a new gate or soew more lies they have been fed. Liberalism is definitely a mental illness. It is a cancer to humanity and civilization. Just look what it has done in California or New York or take your pick of their trail if destruction.

Basically, they don’t give a shit anymore because they know nobody is going g to do anything. You had the AG in VA quite literally tell everyone in VA to turn their shit in or get bent or both. One guy said today he would be a law abiding citizen and tomorrow he would be a felon. The AG responded with there isn’t any buyback and that laws change and he expected VA people to follow the laws which is basically saying fuck you I’m your ruler now. Obey or suffer the consequences.

This is correct. The senate has yet to vote on it but the word is they are going to pass it. It’s basically up to the people to change the minds of 4 key senators at this moment. If they can’t, it’s as good as done and if I’m not mistaken will take effect immediately Once dipshit signs it. @Vamike9 can fill us in on the deets at the moment!
