WTS: Early war, original, all correct M1 Carbine. Has not been refinished, rebarreled, or had parts replaced.
Receiver manufactured somewhere around late '42 and barrel stamped '43 (see below).
All the details too much to list, but ofcourse willing to provide more pics and info to anyone seriously interested.
- 225,xxx serial number
- Barrel stamped Inland 1-43, original finish, no import stamp.
- original "C-tab" sling
- I-cut stock with still visible "IO" and "Ordnance Bomb" cartouche.
- Type 1 barrel band
- flat bolt
- push button safety
- original flip sights with original blued flat spring
So in 2001 I was offered $2,000 from a collector, Orion gave me a verbal appraisal of $3,000-$3500 in 2018, I think my listed price is pretty spot on.
*$2,700* shipped & insured CONUS. Zelle or Venmo preferred. Will do paypal f&f as well. Make sure your FFL can receive from an individual with copy of my ID in the box. Only trade would be an almost-new Staccato P DPO w/ steel frame.
