I have a Kestrel 4000, it's used and got kinda beat up by some brass in my range bag a while back. But it's just cosmetic damage to the plastic body. No issue with the screen, instruments, wind meter, or wind meter cover. It functions perfectly. No corrosion inside the battery compartment either.
