Rifle Scopes www.usoptics.com

Re: www.usoptics.com

To all who are concerned with a couple "issues" with the site, I somehow found this: http://uso.binaryanvil.net/optics.html . I think its the same exact site, but hosted on the server of the people who created the site. The only difference is, however, that everything on that one seems to be working properly.

George, sorry if I found something that I wasn't supposed to.

Re: www.usoptics.com

Its too bad so many people are having issues cause it works great for me (must be a mac thing)..... DAM you US optics i have already built 5 scopes and I am sure if I keep drinking i will get the credit card.

Then I will be looking for place to stay cause my wife will KILL me AGAIN

It took her 3 months to stop being mad at me last time.

Re: www.usoptics.com

I'm using Firefox on a MAC and the site is all scrambled. Links are all over the screen on all pages. Something isn't right when using firefox as the browser. It seems as if the links at the top of the screen move down to the main window when I move the cursor over them.

Same results using Safari.

I'm using Firefox but I am not having issues. I would highly recommend everyone upgrade their flash player to the latest version from adobe.com

Re: www.usoptics.com

I am also having trouble with a mac configuring a scope

There is no flash on this site. ( people are working on it as we speak so they probably resolved an issue as you guys updated your flash players, also FYI flash sucks)

Also... USO was excited about the site and announced it 2 days early

We are aware of many issues and will be working all weekend to resolve them, so that the site is in excellent shape for shot show.

This was a gang busters 3 month built from scratch, as USO's old web developers screwed them after a year + of work.

Thanks in advance to all the items being sent over to John and his team from people here at the hide.

Also when pointing out any issues including this information is helpful ....

1. Operation System ( example: windows 7 service pack X )
2. Browser ( example: chrome version 16.x)
2. Resolution (example: 1900x1600)

Everything should be in great form for Tuesday, and again thanks for your patience.

John and the USO team has already had a phase two meeting with us so... if you folks like this... there is more to come.

... and someday we might actually build our own website lol

A simple "It can't be flash as there is no flash on the site" would have sufficed. And although Flash is not ideal it's commonly used in many sites, and people are bad about not updating anything from their Javascript to their Adobe. But thanks for pointing it out...

Re: www.usoptics.com

I played with it for like an hour yesterday. Its like going to cusomize your oakleys or build your own shoes.
ONLY problem I had, was that when You build a scope...it wouldn't update the appearance in the preview.

All in all, it's probably the best upgrade to a website I've seen in a LONG time. Way more user friendly and visually appealing.
