Re: XLR Chassis Stock
It was the 5-20x50 with seekins rings, quick throw lever, and 6x fixed.
The 6x is in a LaRue SPR mount that will go on the G3k, along with a Magpul stock. The balance is awesome with the 12.5" barrel, makes it feel like a bullpup offhand. So far surplus has been running 23-2400 fps. The flash hider throws off sum of the harmonics and opens up the groups though, got to get it SBR'ed soon.
That's my 0-300yrd gun, now just waiting on my XLR chassis for the 300+ gun. My savage is shooting sub MOA @ 300 with Barnes 175 Match burners with XBR powder @ 2600fps, I've only shot at 600 once do to having to have another qualified person on the range to shoot the big range. I can shoot out to 300 all day by myself.
Getting divorced Tuesday though, luckily it's been pretty civil so far, but money is way tight so more money on rings is not a good thing. I emailed Kyle about getting the folding stock and a magazine, but he hasn't emailed me back. I figured those are last minute options so I'm not to worried about that though.
Also anyone know if the "Accurate Mags" Brownelles sells will work, there quite a bit cheaper than the Accuracy Int ones. About 20$ from what I remember.
