ZCO527 or 840 for PRS

Oh, I have been paying attention, believe me.

It’s just I’m not drawing the same conclusions that you are…but I’m not saying I’m right. I don’t have all of the puzzle pieces, certainly.

I think @gebhardt02 has been handling ZCO user questions and complaints anywhere from adequately to pretty well.

I don’t think most people are saying ZCO scopes stink. I’m certainly not. It’s how one handles the complainers, I guess. I think biz reps on forums have a hard job, way harder than a regular forum poster. Not sure if I’d have the poise or restraint, to be honest.

Anyway, take care and see ya later.

With Shot Show in effect as we speak, there's a chance they never have a chance to address this post.

The problem with scopes from my experience in general is that every optical system is unique and just because a company has one excellent scope does not mean that every scope they make is performing equally well. There are just too many variables. You just have to look through it and decide for yourself.

I love my 840 MPCT 3x… kinda wish I didn't get the locking turrets, but that was my fault. Anyway, I'll be getting my wife one of the OD green 527s MPCT 3X and 10 mil non-locking turrets to go on her frosted cranberry MPA rifle. It will definitely be a Christmas rig haha. I took a hard look at TT and its an impressive piece of glass, couldn't justify the 2k more price tag to be honest, that's almost a whole 6-36 LRP S3 ill be getting for my daughter's rig! Btw… super expensive if you get your whole family into shooting… I don't suggest it.

I want to look through a newer production model to see how it compares to my bud's early version. Maybe the early models were not optimized?

Many manufacturers tweak their formulas and do rolling updates through a production cycle, I’ll say the current ZCO’s are the best they have made IMO. - Richard
