I don't think losing half your resources and 20% of your territory counts as a stalemate. It especially doesn't count when you have had premiere intelligence your country could only dream of and substantial support from the west.

I think what was implied is that Zelenski doesn't want a cease fire. I think he might be pushing Trump to help them take back some of the conquered territory. I'm guessing Trump is pissed because he wants this over with, he got Putin to agree to some semblance of terms that Trump thinks are fair, and Zelensky is whining about the terms because he doesn't like them. That's why Trump keeps saying he "doesn't have the cards". Without the US, zelensky has nothing to bargain with, but he doesn't like Trump's deal.

i thought all the fed trolling would decrease. guess not. we spent billions of $s and how many lives in Afghanistan. uninstalling and then reinstalling the Taliban. we needed to get out of there. never should have been there. we should and could have left in a measured and rational fashion. taking every bullet,plane,brick,toilet,everything out with us. instead we did an insane withdrawal leaving billions in advanced weaponry for our enemies to use or sell in addition to getting 13 more people killed. and,BTW leaving those that did support us there to be slaughtered ,like we did in VN. this process was,of course,planned and implemented to maximize the damage and loss we had already absorbed. the incompetent and ignorant Russians seem to have done their departure cleaner,safer and having lost less fighting there for no better reason than we did.
