Just skimming through this thread looking at pics- and my first thought was "wonder if they had some parts that didn't get treated correctly." Then noticed the powder mix up-- I was guessing that would have put it over 100,000psi but never would have thought it would be that high. That's impressive it only looks that bad.
Now for the question..... I would think the action would be compromised after that even if it held together. For example when they use to do proof loads.... yes the action survived- but couldn't the higher pressure of the proof load create a problem that wasn't there before and now just waiting to happen?
reubenski- props for owning it. Lots of people would have sent that back with a "don't know what the hell happened." It's cool that they want to check it out and see what they can do-- but expecting them to fix it would have been wrong.
