Zermatt - rather funny

Good to hear Zermatt has great CS. Have two TL3s now and nice to know they will help out if needed. Hopefully won't need BOOM help like some here. LOL

Also have three PVA prefits for them in 6.5 Creed, 6 Creed and .223 and all run great. @bohem does great work from my experiences which also include a few other barrels on my Surgeon and a 700. Plan to have him do a .308 for my "TAC" TL3 soon.

Just skimming through this thread looking at pics- and my first thought was "wonder if they had some parts that didn't get treated correctly." Then noticed the powder mix up-- I was guessing that would have put it over 100,000psi but never would have thought it would be that high. That's impressive it only looks that bad.

Now for the question..... I would think the action would be compromised after that even if it held together. For example when they use to do proof loads.... yes the action survived- but couldn't the higher pressure of the proof load create a problem that wasn't there before and now just waiting to happen?

reubenski- props for owning it. Lots of people would have sent that back with a "don't know what the hell happened." It's cool that they want to check it out and see what they can do-- but expecting them to fix it would have been wrong.
