Optics Mounted but never fired Vortex Razor LHT 3-15x42 HSR-5i MRAD

I bought this scope and put it on a 243 I was going to let some younger guys in the family shoot but no interest. Anyways, I’m pretty sure I have the gun sold so I’ll get rid of the glass also to fund another project. Perfect shape like new. I will pull it out of rings if somebody wants it and confirm there are no ring marks. THE ONLY DOWNFALL is my 2 year old son got ahold of the box and ripped a tab off while I wasn't paying attention. Obviously that doesn’t matter but I know there are some box whores out there. My dad is one of them. $730 shipped. Will be shipping USPS Priority. PayPal friends and family or you add the 3.5%. Comes with the covers, never opened sunshade and a Kenton ballistic turret as pictured.

New Guy From GA

Hey guys, new member here. I have been lurking for a few months and decided I need to be a part of this. This is one of the few sites that is even tolerable anymore. Most sites kick you off for saying stuff I didn't even know was wrong. So to hell with them. I just want to be around like minded people and this seems like that place for the most part. So hey guys.

Anyone ever go the Form 1 suppressor route?

Have a guy on the crew that needs a suppressor because I'm sick of getting brake blasted as well as the fireball he makes at night is just retarded. Understandingly, he doesn't want to pay some retarded amount of money to get a suppressor and then wait 1 year for the dog and pony show tax stamp bullshit.

Form 1 suppressor 'kits' have been a thing for a while. I know at the start they were mostly not great quality and they were generally very long. I'm assuming its come a long way since then as there are multiple suppliers and this is catching on.

I've never even remotely looked into how to figure out what parts are needed, what goes together, what works, what doesn't, etc let alone assemble one.

Has anyone done this and/or knows the specifics and a go to setup for a 5.56 suppressor that is ideally, no longer than 6.5 inches?

Yes he will do the Form 1 first for you fudds out there about to lose your minds - suck a dick anyways.

The Sniper’s Hide Dot Drill

I honestly don’t remember what year I came up with the Sniper’s Hide Dot Drill. I know I was working at Rifles Only, and it had to be around 2006, give or take a year, but since that time, I have seen the dot drill grow and expand beyond the original intention.

Progressive Dot Drill Target

As a precision rifle shooter, shooting groups is a necessary evil. Some disciplines revolve around group shooting, like benchrest or F Class. As a tactical shooter, I look at it as more of a cross-the-course style of shooting. It’s not about the group size as much as the position used to get that first-round hit. We are looking to solve a dynamic problem versus repeating the same thing over and over. The reality is that we want to solve the shooting problem in the least number of rounds possible instead of stacking a group into a single target.

Number One Threat Climate Change

The Pentagon’s Defense Climate Risk Assessment takes a similar approach, but from a military perspective, examining how China and others could take advantage of rising sea levels and melting glaciers — and what the Pentagon needs to do to respond.

If our enemies are taking advantage of rising sea levels, and we can't because ???? we are to involved in CRT and removing penises from our troops...........

Thank God all our intelligence agencies are concentrating all our resources on the weather and not our enemies. Its a lot safer being in the CIA today for your job is watching clouds and carrying umbrellas .

I don't know about you but I think I should take a foreign language class for Chinese .

New build has bolt getting stuck

Hi guys. I'm new here. I've read many threads over the years which has helped me learn. I appreciate the sharing this community does. I've never signed up, because I never felt I had much to offer. I'm way more of a RMPL guy. Anyway, my teenage son wants to get into long range shooting, so we just finished a project....AR10 6.5 Creedmoor build. I've built a few AR15's with success, but this is my first real problem, so I thought I'd ask you guys for any advice before I humbly take my mess to see my local gunsmith.

Anyway, here's the problem:

Parts:
Aero M5 receiver set
Wilson Combat super sniper barrel
I can't remember the BCG I got. I bought it about a year ago as I've been slowly purchasing these parts.
Ammo is Sierra match king (all I have right now)

Issue:
We have not fired this yet. We were able to charge, slide bolt forward, recharge, dry fire, ext all with success. Empty magazine held bolt open. All looked really good.
I put a loaded mag in and dropped the bolt. Seems to go all the way in just fine. That's when it stuck. Could not pull the charging handle back to eject live round.
Ended up taking the upper off and used a screwdriver to pry the bolt out, which it slid back pretty easily and ejected the round. Of course, I scuffed up my upper a bit doing this, but oh well. Repeated this 3 times.

I'm not sure if something is wrong with my barrel lugs or if its my extractor, or what. Here's some pics I took of the lugs and of the BCG/Round as I slowly slid it back after getting it unstuck.

Thanks guys for taking a look at this.

Illuminated Reticle: The illuminated reticle provides greater visibility during dusk and dawn and other low ambient light environment.
Etched Glass Reticle: Reticle etched on the glass that provides excellent backing support for complex reticle design and offers great durability and much higher shock resistance to recoil
Fully Multicoated: Fully Multicoated optics effectively reduces reflected light and increases the transmission of light giving you a brighter image than normal single coated lenses

Cross dominance

Good Morning

I hope you are all doing well. I brought this up some time ago, and wanted to ask about it again. I am a cross dominant shooter, my left eye is dominant but I shoot right handed, butt-stock to my right shoulder. Seeing through the scope is difficult unless I close my left eye. With that said, are there shooters in the PRS and NRL realms that are cross dominant but still shoot very well and even win matches?

New Scope Purchase, Need Input

Hey everyone, here is another "im buying a new scope and need help post." Well I have narrowed the field to my top six, and would like to get some input as to which one you would go with and why. This new optic will be going on my new MPA BMR Pro for PRS competitions. I have already taken all of their features, weight, length, etc into consideration. Im keeping dollar amount out of the discussion, as the price of each optic is within my price range. Any insight is appreciated.
