My sister married her high school sweetheart and they shit out to reasonably great kids who jumped on their own swords really early on in life.

The boy went into the Army for about 3 months and then he or they decided he was unfit at some point in boot camp and he came home. I don't think he has left the basement since and that was 5 years ago. He didn't graduate boot camp, as something happened within the first couple weeks and it took a few months to get him out processed. It was long enough that my cousin a Navy Captain (O-6 type) had to call on his behalf to kick the Army in the nuts to out process him. Anyway he makes like $50 a month reviewing videos on youtube. I don't have a link for his page.

The girl got knocked up at 13 as a homeschooler by the neighbor a convicted felon who got deported back to Mexico. She's also been knocked up at 16, and is currently knocked up (because that is what she does). So 3 kids from 3 different dudes by the time she will turn 21.

We live 1000 miles away, and of course they live in the town we'd like to move back to. But I have daughters at home and I don't want them around either one of these idiots.

Osprey Barrel Works is a new offering through Patriot Valley Arms. They barrels are 100% CNC produced from double stress relieved 416RR CReS (Stainless). Right now they're available in 22, 6mm, 6.5mm in the associated fast twists required for modern rifle bullets. As production increases there will be more calibers added to the list, likely in early 2022.

The project is a long term endeavor to bring more barrel production in house and vertically integrate more of the product line.

I've been pretty quiet on the forum about them for a while, even though we've been selling them for about 6 weeks. Approximately 70 are in shooters' hands at this point. We have gotten 1 big PRS match win, two local match wins, and numerous comments from those initial shooters and gunsmiths telling us how impressed they were with the first time out at the range.

Recently (last weekend) Aaron Hipp used PVA Seneca 6mm 95gr bullets and an Osprey Barrel Blank (installed by Alamo Precision) to win the PA-OH Border Wars Finale.

The barrels are top shelf, micro-honed, lapped, stainless barrels. The current production rate is ~200pcs a month and can expand as needed. They are available as contoured blanks as well as a full Prefit barrel. Each barrel blank is individually serialized for QA Tracking.

Just my theory but it does help to make sense of everything the left is doing or trying to do.
I like to Think that the current Democratic Party is in its final death throes. They know they have no one electable for the next cycle or perhaps two. Whereas, the right is chomping at the bit to end any Rinos and seems to have a stable of younger conservatives waiting in the wings. i cannot think of one lefty that will appeal to the various factions within the left as well as get the “swing” states. Additionally, with voter ID laws coming into effect and now that the spotlight is on elections the left knows it will so much harder to pull off what they did in 2020. plus, if the audits actually prove what I and most hope, they will expose the left for they truly are. Liars, cheats, power hungry people with no interest in serving the people rather the people serving their will. This alone, will cause the left to lose seats at a rate that hasn’t been seen since President Ron Reagan took office.
next, The old dems will be dead soon. It was now or never. Joe Biden was the only idiot that could have some appeal to those on the right that hated Trump. This is why (I beleve) they pulled out all the stops to get Biden in there. In fact, I believe the corruption was so bad that ( again, I belive) Joe didn’t even win the South Carolina primary. Remember, “these were his people.” I think the dnc and deep state knew the a Lot of their own party would still not vote for a homosexual or a woman. especially the women they trotted out on stage all vying for president. Again, cue the career senator from Delaware.
Finally, The left knows it will take several years for any conservative gov’t ( Trump or somebody else) to fix this absolute shit show they created. both foreign and domestically. It should be so simple to campaign against a libturd. The conservatives TV commercial should just play the news footage over and over and over. Then ask, ask, Do you want more if this? The dems are stealing as much as they can take, hence a bill that is 2200 pages long. Hence COVID relief with money going to study gender studies in Pakistan. . plus so Much more.
This is why I think the Left is currently pursuing a scorched earth policy.

It looks like the new sanctions would ban "new and pending" permits for ammo coming out of Russia. It bans a bunch of other stuff as well but figured since this is a gun forum we would focus on the ammo part. This would not change already approved permits.

We import a crap ton of Russian ammo (not just 7.62x39) and prices were starting to come back down.

My question is how often do you have to reapply for a permit?

Wednesday morning wake up before heading to work. She asks if "I'm gonna give her a sexy time?" I do.
Go in the bathroom after to take my morning constitutional glance down and the water is red.
Huh? That's not right. Flush say nothing. I've never experienced this before.
Get to work feeling fine and handling some busy work. Stop to pee, looks like a red cross donation. Not pink, dark red.
Go about work, pee again, no better.
Tell the boss I'm leaving early. Stop by the nurses office, who happens to be my girlfriend, yes the same one from this morning... I get the "why didn't you tell me this morning?" thing.
Waste time at a "on call" walkin clinic. End up in the ER Wednesday night.
Blood work, Cat Scan and now a mass in my bladder. Get admitted, surgery Thursday afternoon. Sporting a catheter until at least monday longer if the bleeding doesn't quit.
Waiting on pathology in 5 to 7 days to see what's next. It is what it is, and I'll deal with that once it's time. Been down this road before with testicular cancer, 14 years ago...that's when I became halfnutz.

Biggest bummer is that I was supposed to be at the Frank and Marc 3 day Precision Rifle Course in Iowa this weekend.
Maybe next year.

So I just got a new pair of Tuna Alleys on a warranty claim with the Blue Mirror 580 glass lenses. I’ve noticed that with these there’s a weird blue aura around shiny objects and certain lights. My three other pairs (black mirror 580P, green mirror 580P and the copper mirror 580G that went back on mirror that the new ones replaced) never did this. Neither do my first pair I bought (fan tails with the blue mirror 480G).

My question is does anyone else have any pairs with the blue mirror 580G lenses and notice a weird blue aura around shiny objects that glint or lights?? I’d like to get a feel for if I should reach out to Costa Del Mar or an optometrist

Any feedback or help would be fantastic as I always wear sunglasses for shooting, driving, or basically whenever I’m outside and the sun is out.

I found out today that my cousin, friend, hunting, fishing, shooting and drinking buddy has Metastatic Signet Ring Cell AdenoCarcinoma.

Basically cancer in the GI tract.
He starts chemo next week. They’ll have to put a port in him to admin the Folfox, which from my understanding is the type of chemo. He will be in the hospital for two days while they administer the drugs and then taking a twelve day break for them to work before going back for round two.
In total, there will be twelve sessions

Anyways, he saw a doctor yesterday and the doc gave him 2-5 years.

Ive never been much of a religious man, but our family could really use some prayers right now.

My wife's sister is a massive bitch, I mean huge. She has always been a bitch to me, and always been a bitch to my wife every since she was in high school and the wife was in junior high.

She doesn't work (outside the home) has 5 kids from 19 to 5, and my brother in law is a pretty good guy works IT stuff in Salt Lake, probably makes a lot of money.

My wife has exactly one sister, she has never been to her house and rarely ever seen her but a few times since they both left California about 15 years ago.

They feigned an attempt at meeting us in Europe when I was stationed there, but didn't want to stay with us only make us meet them 150 miles away in another country. Really cunty shit. My wife conned me into falling for it, and the result was us wrecking our car on the way to see them and me getting arrested.

Anyway, their 19 year old kid is a nice kid. She cuts hair or something like that and is marrying another young kid who's dad owns a construction company.

We are invited the 2 of the wedding parties but not the wedding (because we aren't of that religion, and that is fine). Were given a huge list of shit we had to provide, and told we had to do our own lodging, vehicles (we live 1000 miles away) and no one at any part can wear a mask (pictures). 350 at the wedding, 450 at one party and then 350 at the other.

Half of the family is staying in Las Vegas for a few days on the way up, and the other half is coming from Phoenix area.

They registered on Amazon and every gift they want is $500-1500.

I told my wife to slip a dollar in one of those complimentary Christmas cards the elk foundation gave us and write the words "covid says fuck you".

I had a team come through for work and one of the assholes had been to Vegas and had covid and had to go home. He actually attended a funeral and killed off a few more people (old fat people in Louisiana, of course covid is like a hand grenade in that situation). His fat ass recovered.
