223 vs 22 arc 16” for ranch rifle

I checked the weight on the gen 2 ruger ranch. 6lb 11.2oz.

I pulled a s&w ar15 out of the safe that I have a 16" DD barrel on, took the acog off, and it is 6lb 11.0 oz

lol.

May just throw a dang 1-8 NX8 on this and roll with it. My only beef with the AR is im 90% going to lose brass shooting it out in a hayfield somewhere.. Thats the only thing that bugs me with rolling around with a semi auto.

I do have some 53Vmax to load and 62 eld vt
53 v max is my go to 223 varmint bullet. For genral purpose varmint shooting something that uses 223 brass is always the correct answer for cheap reloading. If you want to increase the giggles and splats and keep the cheap to loose 223 cases and the ar15 platform. I would suggest taking a look at the 20 practical. It chunks stuff up bad with 39g seirras and 40g v max. 😳

Trump Announces the JFK Files Have Been RELEASED!

His rifle was test fired, it produced around a 3/4" group.

Edit- when fired rapidly, 3 Shot in 5 seconds they were able to produce a 3" group @ 100 yards. With the shitty optic it had on it.

Try not being so completly full of shit. Unless your MO is spreading lies and dis information, or just trolling for fun. Then you are doing a great job.
if you believe that, then you are not only an idiot you are a gullible idiot. one that believes CO2 in the atmosphere is melting the ice caps and that Ruby Shot Oswald because of his deep Jewish convictions or maybe Saddam had an active nuclear weapons program.

T1x ACE in Hand - Review - Pictures - Info - Thoughts

I know Orkan pushed pretty hard the idea that long barrels were more consistent, apparently had shot a lot of different lengths.
I've never seen anyone make a claim to the contrary, so put me in the camp of believing it now.

I was at a comp the other day and heard a couple of guys talking about it.
I don't think it'll be too long before you stop seeing any short barrels for comp use, even if just for the added weight.
I have been in the 24”-27” barrel length being optimal for precision with the 22lr for about 15 years now. I have seen it play out time and time again over a crap load of both factory and custom builds that I have owned with various barrel manufacturers, rifling styles, and chamberings. It proofs out over a chronograph (more consistent velocity) and less ammo sensitivity. Not necessarily more extreme accuracy as I have owned some extremely accurate 18”-20” barrels once you find the ammo it likes, but rather the longer barrels shoot a wider variety of ammo, lot numbers, velocity etc accurately.

That said I currently have a V-22 with a 20” ACE that is a hammer. But it is a little particular on ammo.

Trump Announces the JFK Files Have Been RELEASED!

Yeah but if you look at it in the context of after he got out he fled to the Soviet Union, married a Soviet wife in the home of a Soviet spook, came back spent time in New Orleans on a pro Cuba campaign, then moved to Texas and finally killed a president and a cop.

Then it looks like maybe he had a bone to pick, and his service in the marines left a bad taste in his mouth.

so you ignored the information that was just presented to you, actual physical evidence about the scope being loose on the rifle, etc. and all you're focused on is that he had a bad taste in his mouth?

Kid laughing her socks off made the video even better
"My ears!" I had the same thing the first time I ate one. My ears were ringing and I had to take a knee. They are HOT! Surprisingly decent flavor though. A bit sweet.

I learned the hard way that these are not to be trifled with!!!

Sirhr

I’ve only eaten a small sliver of one, once. And only because my buddy grew them and brought one to work. I knew what I was getting into and I knew it was going to suck. It did and I’m never(most likely) doing it again. Just before your face melts off they do taste really good though

M110 optic history

I don’t remember an exact year or branch. I thought the M110 had the Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 3.5-10x40 with TMR reticle.

@sinister might be a better source.
The US Army fielded M110 with the Leupold M3LR as specified in MIL-PRF-32316 (AR) w/AMENDMENT 1, 5 October 2009 (superseding 7 October 2008).

People confuse the KAC M110 (Army contract) with the USSOCOM SR-25 (1993-2000) and Mark 11 (fielded in 2000).

M110 users might have US Army tapes on their uniform jackets but there were two buyers -- the Navy (with SOCOM-provided money for US Commandos) and Mother Army (for Active, Guard, and Reserve Soldiers).

Two different and distinct customers and contracts, both with different contract acceptance specs.

You get two M110s per SFODA because the Army is bound (by law) to provide Army-common equipment to a slotted sniper. An SF Soldier or Ranger might also have a Mark 11 as well, with an M110A3 (6.5 Creedmoor) upper.

I’ve considered growing them but then again I have; cut up serranos, washed my hands 2-3 times, and then still regretted the decision to take a leak…

An old warhorse rides again:

A Colt M1877 'Lightning' revolver built in 1902 chambered in .38 Long Colt and exhibiting major rust and pitting from being stored inside it's leather holster for decades is restored back into operating condition.

In the black powder and 1911 shooting circles, it is well documented that blued steel and leather holsters do NOT mix when it comes to long term security and upkeep of conditions. Genuine leather holsters have a tendency to wick ambient moisture out of the air where the accumulated water droplets will then interact with the firearm stored inside in a negative fashion. When stored for long periods of time, it is common wisdom now to store guns and holsters/gun socks and sleeves separately inside a moisture proof display and transport case with a few fresh silica gel packs tossed in and rotated as needed for the best reliability.
