I have ag covers and recoil x on both sico scythe ti and diligent enticer sTi and do not have this problem with the covers sitting right up to the jam nut. Maybe your cover is a dud?

I really liked that movie. Thought Val was great. Yes, Douglas took his role over the top. His death did fit in with the story line and to some degree of motivation/revenge for Val character.
Side note for those that may not know, but the actual lions of Tsavo are on display at the Chicago Museum of History. Been there and have seen them.

Ummmmmm 4DoF replaces BC??? It's based on 400 measured Doppler realities! It doesn't let you enter BC if on 4DoF. That's kinda the whole point. Buy a Garmin Xero C1 off Amazon and recheck your REAL FPS, if you dont wanna keep it, Amazon returns are nearly painless!

The IP is delayed for YEARS! AH sells me an ATV2 (with V3 software) to get me by, 6 months AFTER the advertised IP release (summer 2024). What a primitive POS! I struggle along, awaiting the IP. I polish the trickler tube, I change the belts, I superglue loose parts....But it's never quite right, and the IP never comes....It's now early March, 2024....

So I buy ANOTHER V4, which I received today. Easy to set up. good instructions. Still sits atop like a house of cards. But an elegant machine with great software, and easy peasy bluetooth, and an intuitive App!

After all this frustration for almost 3 years, it is like ECSTASY dumping charges. It just WORKS! l'm in HEAVEN!!! (I fed it AR-COMP, easy test, no fat stick powders like H50BMG, RL50, or n570, to kill this buzz!)

But now I've dumped 100 charges, and I have to empty this fucking thing. Wait, what? OK, take off the hopper. Now what? unplug the fucking wire? WHAT? Shake it like a shank-n-bake chicken? What about these windows? These stupid fucking "windows" on the front and the rear? Oh my fuck, now there is powder all over every-fucking-where and I remember why I sold this POS almost 3 years ago!

But, TBH, this is the one I will keep. Maybe even after IP full system comes out...get another scale, run two of them for different powder morphologies....?

I will give you my Autotrickler V4 experience.
I put my order in and recieved it in February 2022.
One of the first powders I tried was AA #7 which is a very fine ball powder.
It was getting between the body and the large cylinder ultimately jamming the cylinder.
I contacted Adam MacDonald and within a day he shipped me some tape to put on the cylinder to close the gap.
This worked and within a couple of weeks Adam sent me a new replacement cylinder with tighter tolerances.

I do use a couple of paper shims where the 2 front feet rest but that isn't a deal breaker for me.
The easiest way I find to empty the Autotrickler is to twist the hopper to the closed position.
I then put the glass cup in the back and lift the plastic window to fill the cup. After the second time the rear compartment is empty.
I then lift the hopper off the Auto Trickler. I then tilt the dispenser backwards and sit it back down and lift the plastic window with the glass cup in place. I do this twice and there is no powder left anywhere. I don't even disconnect the wire.
37 seconds and I'm all done.
Pro tip if you want to tighten up the variance on the V4 you can add a second decimal place to your charge weight.
If you want to drop 42.2gr put in 42.21gr. this way the minimum acceptable charge is 42.20 and the maximum is 42.22.
If you put 42.2 then the acceptable range is 42.18 to 42.22

Greg, Stainless steel barrels can still corrode/pit. It’s not surgical stainless. So you still have to do maintenance and cleaning of the barrel. Outside and inside.

Being as the black oxide is a finish. My take is this. You want all your machine work done prior to finishing. So thread, chamber muzzle crown and engraving etc…

I would also recommend or ask whomever does the work for you or anyone else to plug the bore / chamber of the barrel etc… that way as little or no solution is going down the bore. When we were at Krieger and having the c.m. Steel service rifle barrels parkerized we made/had plugs that would plug the bores to protect them.

Also when I was at Krieger when a gun mfg came out with they’re line of varmint rifles and the barrels were made by the Criterion side of the shop… ss barrels and the factory were bluing them. They sent us in 3 rifles as they had problems with the bores all pitted and corroded. Accuracy / shooting was the issue. I knew what they did but asked the question… “How did you get the blued finish to take to the ss barrels? The bluing process doesn’t readily take to ss gun barrels. They said, “submersed the barrels in an acid bath for 10 seconds before going to the bluing process. The acid etched the ss material so the bluing process would take. I then asked, “are you plugging the bores?” Answer was no. I said well that’s your issue that’s causing the damage. They figured it cost $1 in labor or something like that to plug the bores so they skipped it. I said well your $1 in labor savings cost you a few hundred dollars in each barrel lost.

Fast forward to a few years ago…. A gun maker I will not mention and another place was pvd coating and nickel plating the cm barrels we made them for the army. Nobody plugged the bores… barrels sat on the floor in the factory on pallets for a x amount of time… guess what happened… yep bores all pitted chambers pitted etc…no one took the time to even run oiled patches or some cleaning solvent down the bores to remove any of the chemicals to protect the bores if I recall correctly.

Again I would ask whoever does the work for you…. Can you plug the bores and or should you be plugging the bores. Can anything happen to the bore of the barrel from the chemicals?

I think the bottom metal itself is ugly, not the mags... Maybe I'm alone on this one.

The Gen III Razor looks damn good on a Vudoo, even on a pine pollen covered deck, and does everything needed for the sport. You won’t be disappointed if you go this route.
