Had a 3rd grade teacher tell us #2 son needed ADHD meds. I asked her point blank for her medical license. She said, she wasn't a medical doctor. I then told her she had zero business
giving medical advice. She replied they were trained to spot symptoms.
I laughed in her face. Told her my son would not be getting any ADHD meds. None of his other teachers ever said anything along those lines.
Every interaction we had with her was bad. She had poor control of her classroom. She favored the girls in class over all the boys. My son did poorly in 3rd grade.
Next year he got a excellent teacher and he improved dramatically.

Welp, there went Douglas Barrels lol

This thread is how people get 'boo'ed'.

***********

I actually have zero experience with Douglas, but that seems to be on par with Hart (and I respect them). It is also $30-50 less than a Lilja these days. If the Douglas is 'just as guud', then it would appear that they are still a decent price - even though we wish everything was priced the way it was 10 years ago.

The last button barrel blank I purchased was a Broughton 5C...so that will say something about how long ago that was. I do have a few pretty decent factory button barrels though.

RRS TFCT 14L w Anvil 30 too heavy for backpack backcountry hunting?

My older swaro sts 65 fits the anvil 30 just fine. I do recommend some time glassing with it before you go. As you said, it’s either too tight or falling over. With some practice you can get to the point of being able to pan with the anvil 30, or at least slightly shift over to pick apart the next area over some what smoothly. Not a rrs tripod or head but same type of head in the pic.

X - Vectronix Shooting Solutions

You are correct as dealers you end up with price increase that Distribuitor has to offload onto you and you onto customer , as suddenly US customs takes a 10% cut.

I have Vectronix Distribution in my country so know that nothing has changed on Vectronix side. Its purely US customs taking a cut , that then snowballs up the chain up to MSRP increase.

New Sig CROSS

I have not, I will send an email off and if I don’t have any luck I will call.

Was hoping someone had another source located.
Please let us know what you find out. There was a complete bolt listed at one point it seems, but now shows discontinued, https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/8900479

A complete striker assembly would be ideal. I have had firing pin and and cocking piece failures on other rifles before, and have seen it happen at matches.
