I’ll definitely report back once I get my hands on it. I did check out the bergara as well. I’ve read good and bad on those as well. Same with the Remington but, some of the newer reviews were actually pretty good so decided to take a chance. Thanks for all the suggestions. Would have loved to get the tikka CTR in 223 but, they not available anymore.

Real world example…

School lets out at ~ 3 pm. It’s a 2 hour drive to my hunting property. Early season, during DST; I can pick up my son from school, make the drive, and we can slide in for that golden hour on Friday evening. After the time change? Nope, not making the evening hunt.

If you’re a slave to the sun, it doesn’t matter what time it rises or sets. But, if you’re a slave to the clock, it sure is nice to have an extra hour of daylight after work.

I like it. I wait all winter for time to change so I actually have some daylight to do something after work.

I like to tell the story about my cat, baby kitty who is now 12 years old. She has always been a stone cold killer and once when I was out of town, my wife called me all upset and said she had brought a full grown squirrel into the house. The squirrel was very much alive. I heard some screaming and hollerin’ and the phone dropped …. then my wife came back on the line and said oh my God she ran in the bathroom …. I said well shut the door.

She left her in the bathroom for about an hour until all the noise has stopped. When she opened the door and looked in there, there was nothing left of the squirrel except something that look like a kidney and the bushy tail. Baby kitty had eaten all the rest, and looked as fat as a tick. Head, feet….everything.
