As a kid in the 50's & early 60's you could believe most people & the news, be it

print or RF (TV & Radio) as most never had a agenda. Now you can't even believe your eyes to a point and it seems most everything is a lie for views/clicks. At some point this B/S will end but,... what will replace it?

Most everything I read or hear is nothing but a lie when I talk to folks via Radio, in near/far away places that were there, or know trusted types that were there. Then weeks/months or year later a retraction that you have to have a 100X micro scope to see, or a monster pre-amp to hear is placed in a shit stain, most never see or hear. If the goal is to start WWIII or CW II just start that shit and see if ends in a way that's to your liking.
It's long past time to cut out tongues or chop fingers off.
I grew up in the same era. Pres Eisenhower, and on. Even my grandparents told me, “believe half of what you see, some or none of what you hear.” .

Devildog Hog 6.5 Creedmoor feed problem. Ideas?

At gunsmith. He did a gentle reaming of the chamber. All fixed. Weird that the problem seemed to get progressively worse. <shrugs shoulders> some things just don't get figured out.

My thanks to everyone for chiming in with info and ideas.
Likely just a build up of brass shavings on and around the burr.

50 Shades of ODG

Let’s get this one back on track… Re-barreled one of my 6.8 guns back to 5.56, and got it a new matching sling to boot!

As an aside, did anyone here grab one of those limited run ODG anodized NF scopes with matching scope mount that EuroOptic was selling a few months ago? I passed on one at the time as I was in the middle of my second retirement while also trying to finish my shop build, and wanted to ensure we’d be gtg on the finances.

Now that things have settled down, I’m back in the market but they’re nowhere to be found.

One of these:

Is the March FX 4.5-28x52 my new ZCO?

Short story, but I have my first warranty issue with the March, and I think it's probably because someone at Eurooptic took the right side windage out of the box to put on another optic, just my theory. But it was missing when I got the scope. I called Eurooptic and they said they would take care of it. Anyways got this email from March a week later. So thus far seems like they are taking care of me, this is much better than the experience I had with leupold many years ago.

We received an email from the dealer informing us that the windage turret cap was missing from your scope.
We have shipped the cap today via Japan Post using small packet service.
Please kindly accept the delivery when it arrives.
We sincerely apologize for forgetting to include the cap.
Thank you for your patience until it arrives.

I suspect strongly that the riflescope did not leave DEON with a missing turret cap.

Double leg amputee- shot 11 times in the back

Did you just use a fat insult ?

Wow - I pegged you as a cunt right off but didn’t know how right I was .
Insult? I’m giving a proper description. I can smell your diabetes through the fucking internet. I don’t know if it’s your mouth or you rolls that’s a cock holster but that shits got to stop either way you buttercream faggot.

Help Needed - The Curse of the "Free" Gun continues- Stiller Vs Defiance & other 700 action clones

You may be better served by reassembling the parts you have into two rifles for two different purposes.

The two new barrels you ordered will fit the existing action, but are unlikely to fit a new action with different threads and headspace.

What you have now would not be my choice for hunting. It's fine for hitting steel a long way away, but the new, lighter barrels do not complement that use.

Rethink, starting with what purpose you want this rifle to serve.

Good luck.
I should have also mentioned that the barrels are simply blanks.

Thank you Hawk- I do plan to repurpose the this action that I will be replacing. I understand that my rifle is heavy for hunting at just under 12.5LBS with all the accessories, but I have come to terms with that. A lighter bipod and bag rider etc can shed over 1.5 LBS. More regularly this gun is to shoot steel far away. However it is the rifle that I plan to take to Alberta on a Mule Deer hunt in November and likely other hunts.
