7 SWC for PRS

I don't see any 7mm cartridge catching on for barricade benchrest...

Way too much recoil for most shooters. I've watched the average guy post builds for a decade now, and noticed 6-10lbs get added to the rifle over that time for 'recoil control'. No way are those dudes going to undo that by* switching to a cartridge that produces more than a .308.

We may finally know who’s been to the island

we all know this.
just like we know how the fbi allowed a jewish doctor to molest the us girls olympic gymnastic team for years after they knew about it.
nice of you to admit it, but we want justice for the victims, and this includes law enforcement enablers.

The fat shot

One thing is for sure - the over 50 crowd at the gym is pretty sparse. You have some delusional folks that show up reasonably consistently but never make progress b/c they work just hard enough to raise a bead (if the AC is bad) on machines..... followed by conversation, their phone, and resting. Superset? Nah.... I think I have seen one or two other 50+ yr olds do real deads with an actual oly bar, same for cleans (which admittedly require more skill to maintain form), ATG during squats? LOL. Pullups (even weighted assist)? Nope. I see a lot of bench with an oly bar, but not actually touching their chest. Strength training and stretching are 'the things' for aging. Starting at ground zero is an ego killer for most and I think that is what stops most from either entering the gym or using horrific form until they get injured and then quit.

A different tact for some might be: Yoga ('flow yoga') is generally what you're looking for, but FYI - Hot Yoga (room heated up to 90+) and flow can be challenging. Pilates is a more gentle way to get strength throughout the whole range of motion (which is what you want - esp for injury prevention). Or just start with a Tai Chi class in the park and use that to launch into your own isometrics and stretching. Swimming - super gentle on the body, requires lessons / shit tons of YouTube / tips from the competitive swimmer kid you know; otherwise people who flounder more than swim tend to use a mask and snorkel to do their laps.

Absent real effort people start loosing strength and muscle mass after 30 and it simply accelerates after that.

Use it or lose it.

Rifle Scopes Atacr gen 2

Nightforce is a marketing company first and foremost. This is why they don't have new designs very often. I swear they spend 1% on R&D and 99% on marketing.
I'm constantly seeing the fanboys here, ads all over, Nightforce is the best thing and will never break even if I throw it off the space station....

I can't stand using the damn things. They don't do anything any better other than be heavy and outdated... 😂

Im not so sure their best days aren’t behind them. They were always a safe upper-mid pack bet but some of the people that made them a household name are long gone.

Buying a plane after retirement

So i started lessons last week. Flown 2 times now in a 140. First was 1 hr, i actually took off. Pretty sure the cfi had feet in pedals during this
Second flight was 1.3 hrs.
I have a heart condition called wpw that i figured was gonna give me a fit for medical
Talked with the ame near me and explained that i was diagnosed with this over a decade ago and have never had any issues and the cardiologist i went ti at first said not to worry about coming back unless i started having issues.
Anyway all that to say i have a bunch if hoops to jump through for medical cert if i can even get one. Cfi said to come fly once a minth until i get medical cleared so if i cant get it i aint out a bunch of $$ or time if i cant get it
