Ingenuity Powder System

You got me on the spelling error ooooo

I’ve been a member here since 2008.

When this site started (and most threads are still like this) it would be seasoned or professionals helping newer shooters or those expanding their knowledge.

You provide no “INSIGHT”

People like you just come here and act like Karens while this thread has the title like it is offering IP advice or help. That’s what this forum is for.

You and a few others come here just to complain
Ruin the mood here
Ruin people’s search for knowledge
Ruin threads with your Karenisms
And give the forum a bad name

Now if a newer shooter searches for advice or knowledge, all will come up is you bitching

Someone murdered Charlie Kirk

Crowder doesn’t have the charisma that Charlie had. I’d say the difference is virtually night and day.

Crowder comes off as an overgrown frat boy.

Charlie had that “he’ll be President one day” look and way about him. That’s going to be hard to back-fill or rebrand.

No argument here on all the points above. I'm specifically talking about the role in talking to a hostile, shrieking, blue haired, college student on their home turf. Charlie had a lot of grace when dealing with those types where Crowder would likely struggle, but Crowder has an ability to debate and recall information that I don't see in a lot of other young conservatives in media. Nobody can step in and be CK tomorrow, but I thought we're just having a thought exercise and I hadn't seen his name mentioned. carry on.

Is the .17HMR really much better than .22LR for varmints?

For whatever reason I never warmed to the 17s, been a lifelong fan of the venerable .22LR, and own a CZ527 in 221Rem FB, but can certainly see the need for an intermediate cartridge. I owned an Anschutz 54M, and it was certainly an excellent rifle, but the .22WMR is hardly a mid-point cartridge. For awhile now I’ve been pining for a quality bolt rifle in either .22TCM or 5.7/28, but still haven’t decided on an action that would fit these awesome little rounds.
I reloaded for 5.7x28 for a while and it was a PITA for these reasons;

#1 only a 10th of grain over charge would blow primers and a little below max pressure would shorten case life a lot. That meant measuring every powder charge to being almost perfect and a slower load.

#2 the darn cases would slip out of the shell holder and get stuck in the die. I even used imperial die wax. Also I had to really pay attention to put it in the shell holder correctly. Small rim, small shell holder.

#3 such a thin case it was hard to handle/manipulate.

I sold my PS90 after a while because of this, and because not wanting to buy factory ammo, and that I was done trying it all out.

Nice not having to handload rimfires, OT, and all.
