Cold weather gear

After you buy and research yourself to death..get a few of the large hand/body warmers and your done. Nothing keeps you warmer than free heat on your core or quads..another huge muscle with lots of blood warming up.

The body’s thermometer is your upper chest..that’s why scarves work so well

The warmer that location stays the more willing your body is to give heat from your core to extremities. If your “chest” is cold..your hands will never be warm no matter how many gloves you wear.

Navy did lots of studies with SEALS and warming gloves / boots vs a much lower wattage vest. The glove and boot guys functional - dexterity tests were crushed by the vest guys.

You’ll hear the same from Iditarod competitors.

Yes, their NHS is totally FUBAR. Just like UK's NHS. An average of 4-6 months just to see a physician. Most Canadians and Brits are relying on private insurance through work, or coming to the USA and paying out of pocket to get procedures done here. In most US-Canada border cities and towns, half of the patients getting scans, MRIs, etc are Canadians. Some people remarked a few years back that one county in Texas had more MRI scanners in operation than in all of Canada.

Accessories WTT Watch Sinn U50 for U1 or????

I bought this watch off here last year and absolutely love everything about it except the size, it just looks too small on me seeing as I’m a pretty big guy.

Would love to trade it for a Sinn U1 or maybe another larger self winding watch or possibly toward 9mm pistols such as walther steel PDP 5”, Dan Wesson DWX, CZ p10 competition???? Throw me some
Offers.

Would sell for $1800 dropped to $1750 CONUS.

Here is the original ad from here where I bought it. Comes with everything that is in the original ad.

Prayer Request Thread

That I find my place in the world after 13yrs in the military with a pretty severe, but unnoticeable disability. Work retainment has been fluctuating and I need to work on that. 2 jobs in 4 years. I'm the AH husband and father for enjoying a little cannabis on a family trip after surfing Blacks in San Diego for my wifes GF's wedding(round #2 for her :sneaky: best of luck this time ). Was given 2 choices by my FIL. Fly back home to SeaTac or Cincinati to stay with my folks for using cannabis on his property(I wasn't on premisis the time. GMAFB, sir). 😤 They all can sip their 2x - 4x glasses of wine during dinner. Im the f'ing addict pr1ck who goes for a walk after dinner to settle food, enjoy the sunset views, and enjoy a little weed. Sought no hardship or trouble of any sort, at any time. Walked back to the in laws house with a cross armed wife, who near immediately went straight to her parents because her husband was using cannabis where it's perfectly f'ing legal to do so. Now....I'm back in my castle, waiting on my wife to get over her hissy fit(2 weeks now gone with the kids) and to work on how to better fit in and where I can be fruitful and productive in society. If it the day starts at home with a nagging wife, it sure is difficult to find where I fit best, professionally. No doors are opening in the field I desire to go for work, yet the mundane job that was offered at the time(now terminated from) was never meant to be done for ever.

Prayers that the Lord recalibrate my heart and tongue and to be patient, to be kind and to always speak goodness with a gracious spirit.

My love goes out to you and yours, (my bullets, primers and powder stay here with me though ;))
An interesting post. Patience is a difficult virtue to master (as is the tongue), at 75 I'm still working on it.

I wonder about the wisdom of talking about using cannabis on a firearm site, no doubt monitored by many letter agencies.

Ifyou use it as medicine, which, used properly, it can be, and it helps, then you need to come to a decision about the wife, or perhaps she needs to come to a decision about your relationship.

Prayers for your work.

Precision Rifle Gear MDT ACC Elite Full Length Bridge EOI

Man Henning really is doing Gods work with these 1 piece top covers. I dont mind the control bridges because some people only want to run a short section but I really think its a huge oversight by MDT not to even offer a full length one piece cover even though people have been asking for them. Luckily it leaves room for awesome individuals in the community to step up and deliver. Personally I even like the design choices more on this 1 piece versus the official bridges.
It was brought up internally many moons ago and decided that we didn't want to make them at the time. There will always be an aftermarket for the aftermarket and people like @Hennig coming up with stuff to make :)

SOLD AR 22NXS barrel, dies, brass cheap!

Selling my 20” 22NXS barrel and all related stuff. Built this for coyotes out west but recently moved to the south and have no use for this now. Details as followed.

Ritch’s precision 20” light weight barrel threaded 5/8”
Rcbs 22 nosler dies and giraurd trim
Die.
97 pieces of brass/ 83 are loaded. 1x fired brass (I believe 50 are new but don’t remember for sure so let’s call it all 1x fired)
That puts round count at 117 ( again, I’m pretty sure 50 are new brass so round count may be 67)

Will not come with bolt, charging handle, arca mount or CB suppressor brake.

Performance is awesome. The load I ran was 3566fps with a 55gn Sierra game king. Accuracy was around 3/4”- 1” using a 2-10 scope.

If shipping I will pull the loaded ammo down to ship. If in person will leave loaded.

$175 shipped CONUS if local Houston area would do $150.
