SOLD Shadow 2, SAO and ported

CZ shadow 2, converted to SAO with some polishing done as well as full Cajun internals. Armory craft trigger (breaks at 1 pound 12 ounces on my scale and is a very nice break). Direct milled for the 507 comp that it comes with. lok grips, magwell and mag release. All mags have TTI extensions, which is why the magwell is worked to fit them. Ported by United firearms with an 11# recoil spring. Runs flawlessly. Will come with the magazines shown, a double alpha race holster and everything shown. Only trades are for a nice 22 arc, 6arc or 22 creed. 1925 shipped

Night Vision NVision Halo LR + NOX18

I am trying to move a NVision Halo-LR. Older model but was modified by NVision to accept rechargeable CR123's, which will be included. Includes BoBro mount, Predator DVR + battery. Battery mount for rail system. It'd been an extremely solid unit, I've owned 4 Halo-LR's and I always liked this one the best. $3800+Shipping.

Nox18 newer unit still under warranty. Never had a single issue. Works great. Helmet mounted. $3750+shipping.

Team Wendy bump helmet black XL, with Norotos Rhino mount. Counter weight, eBay NV bridge. Best setup I have found that works with the Nox18. $350+shipping.

Will post pictures later.

Thanks,
Scott

Here's the link to the GB Item on our website. It goes live on May 1 at 10am.
I'll push it on social media as well but I wanted it to be easy to find here too.

We moved the shop in January and in the tornado of activity that is a shop move we stuffed a whole batch of 6mm blanks in a dark corner and forgot where it was. When I couldn't find them we quickly made another batch knowing that at some point they would surface and we'd have a bunch of 6mm blanks.

That happened on Friday. Turns out they were in a crate at the pile of crates and pallets that each of us thought we had already looked through. Lo and behold... We have 98 extra 6mm blanks. (It was 100 but Ben just told me he's keeping 2 for himself)

So, rather than dribble them out here and there Ben suggested we run a Group Buy for the Hide at 15% off on 6mm options. The only way this works is to focus on a few calibers and streamline the process and do them all at once. So, that being said: Is there interest in it to make an endeavor worth it?

It would be any of our standard tenons on the everyday list with the following calibers, contours and finish lengths.
Calibers:
6 BR
6 BRA
6Dasher
6 GT
6XC (0.150 FB with Tubb print circa 2016, not 22-250 brass print)
6x47 Lapua
6 Creed
6 PRC (I doubt this is going to be all that popular but we have a 6 PRC reamer that Ben really wants an excuse to use)

Contours:
Bartlein 3B
Brux #5
Light/Medium/Heavy Palma
M24
MTU
Proof Comp

Muzzles:
No Threads
5/8-24

Flutes:
None, Spiral or Straight

Lengths:
18/20/22/24/26

I talked to Evans Customs and they're willing to offer a 15% discount on cerakote too.

If we do it, the GB will open on May 1st and run for 7 days (or when the 100 blanks run out). Lead time is 4 weeks from close of the GB, add 2 for cerakote and/or fluting.

So there, a prefit at 15% off and turn time of 4 weeks.

Poison sumac, trees, and bees

Not happy about this story but here it is.

Live in Ohio and have to cut grass around a large dying cherry tree that is covered in poison ivy or sumac vines. On most of these I just cut the vines at the base and let the tree be. This one had holes at 3' and about 15' and was a literally hive of activity. Wasn't sure if they were hornets, yellow jackets, honey bees or whatever, but they didn't like my 72" Hustler whenever I went near it.

Being March, I was naively hopeful that it was dormant, and I could drop it and eventually burn it without too much prednisone.

The bees weren't having any of that.

I was able to drop it yesterday then they started to swarm. I mixed up a bit of Termidor (Taurus SC) and a pint of water and hit the hollowed out base.

Went back this am to cut it up. Not a soul survived. I was unhappy that it turned out to be a 8-10' column of honey bees with what turned out to be very sweet honey. (yeah, I tried some near the top of the hive). Wish they were something else.
