Accessories Limited Edition Sig Sauer MP320 CALX Pistol Brace Kit w/ ROMEO5

The MP320 CALX kit is compatible with any non-manual safety P320 FCU and slide assembly and includes a polymer lower, a specialized brace, an alloy upper assembly, a 30rd magazine and a ROMEO5X red dot optic.

There were only 800 units manufactured! This auction is for one of them. Please see photographs. This is not a firearm and does not have to be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer.

I have minimal rounds through this (<100) and shows no sign of use.

I also have an P320 that I would sell with this for an additional cost. Reach out if interested, and know it would go through an FFL.

$900 OBO for the MP320 kit only (as shown in pics).

Has anyone ever had out of spec QD sockets on an AI rifle before?

I slung up my AT and was heading up the stairs when the QD swivel detached and the rifle slid off my shoulder....oh joy.

Puzzled I engaged it again and gave it a tug only to have it come out again.

I figured I could have an out of spec swivel so I grabbed another (I only buy USA made swivels) and it does the same damn thing. It happens with the sockets on both sides of the chassis towards the muzzle, however, the otheer sockets on this rifle and my other AT are all fine. I tested at least half a dozen QD swivels with the same results.

I've always hated QD sockets and this is why. This type of thing didn't happen with HK style swivels of the AE/AW series.

I guess I'll see if MHSA or AINA can get me replacements, however, I'm not sure how that'll go.

Another hole filled in the collection, Swedish M41 / AGA44

Been a while since I have found something to put into my collection, but yesterday I picked this Swedish M41 with an AGA44 scope. The AGA 44 was one of 2 scopes used on M41 snipers during WW2 as a replacement for what was originally to be on the rifle, the Ajack 4x42.
From what I have read so far only about 500 of the rifles where equipped with the AGA44 scope making it one rare bird.

Getting started on a budget...

Ok, so I'm a new precision shooter. I've been doing USPSA and 2-gun for some time, but now I'm getting involved in NRL Hunter and PRS. I'm on an inevitable budget (I still can't figure out how people who make less money than me - and no, I'm not rich - can afford those sexy rifles and crazy expensive reloading tools; yes, I'm looking at you AMP Mk. 2 machines). So being the nerd I am, I've started doing homework and putting together a list. Before I lay it out, hoping for feedback (negative is just as, if not more, important than positive), I want to share objectives. I say this, because there is no way I'm going to be reloading 9mm. For USPSA / 2-Gun, gimme my cheap blazer 124 gr all day long. It is easy and I don't need anything more accurate. So, here we go.

Objective:
I'd like to reload top quality NRL Hunter (6.5cm) and PRS (undecided - for the time being I'm using the same rifle for both - and I'll give it to the end of the season [2025] to determine whether I'm doing 6 dasher or whatever the new sexiness is) cartridges. I'd like single digit SD (preferably sub-8) based on a 10-shot string.

Caveats:
My wife is the love of my life. Because of that, I'd like to minimize the expense. She accepts my hobbies, but I don't want to add stressors to our otherwise beatific relationship. So consider me poor.

Conditions:
Because I have a full time job, three kids, a wonderful wife, 2-gun and USPSA hobbies, I'm not going to be shooting a ridiculously large amount of ammo in an NRL Hunter or PRS context. Hell, I do a lot more positional dry firing at home (build this awesome shooting tree leveraged with a DFAT on my scope). So I have zero problems taking more time to make ammo (for now) as long as the end result is top notch.

Ok, so here is my list. This is from someone who is a total newb and spent too much time trying to figure out exactly what I needed to make great ammo without ever having made ammo. So criticize freely.

Anwyay folks, I'm not sure what I'm missing and what I could swap for something better on the same budget. Right now, list price is ~$1858 (ok, that's not roughly, that's exact), but there is a fair amount I could get 2nd hand and save a bundle.

Please let me know what y'all think and any advice is good advice.

TLDR: I want awesome ammo and want to make it cheap, will compromise on how much time I put in to it (ie I'll put in extra time to save a few hundred / thousand over all)

Cheers!

P.S. I love being able to copy and paste from a spreadsheet into here!

POF Revolution Barrel Swap?

Does anyone know who makes a barrel in 6mm creedmoor that would fit the POF Revolution?

I have a revolution in 6.5 Creedmoor which has good to me, averaging 1 moa with Hornady 140eld, but my barrel is about shot out. Ideally want to tighten the accuracy with a better barrel and use it for competitions.

Has anyone swapped their barrels on the Revolution or POF Rogue without sending it in?

Marksmanship Cheat Sheet

I put this together a while back to keep in my range bag as a cheat sheet but I made a couple of changes to it so I thought I'd share it with you all, some may find it useful. The theory is that it can help a shooter with a basic carbine make accurate sight corrections, set up a fairly accurate ballistic profile if you don't know the exact velocity, help analyze shot groups, help estimate and compensate for wind, range estimate, and do a little bit of maintenance if something comes loose or you're moving stuff around. I taped mine up with packing tape, folded in to 1/4's and slipped it into a pocket on my range bag.

Weird looking brass

Going through brass from many trips to the range and came across these pieces of 308 LC match. What rifle does this and reason behind it. Never seen it before till this evening. Just curious and if anyone knows I would like to know.

Accessories MBX 140mm magazines - 9mm

I got these MBX mags when I purchased a used MPA DS9.
I have five (5) of them. They are non-lock back magazines, and I don't have any use for them. They are like new.

I'd do $100/each shipped
If you buy all five, I'd do $475 shipped for all of them.
I prefer Zelle, would accept PayPal F&F or USPS money order.
Cross posted and for sale locally (Pittsburgh PA area)

No trades at this time.
Not shipping to any state with magazine restrictions.

Thanks
