Used for a few thousand rounds. Shoots CCI standard velocity into .5" groups or tighter at 50yds. Used this for a lot of night shooting so the top rail shows signs of the clamping from the clip ons.

Built a back up/family bolt action that isn't getting used, solus action for .478 bolt face, proof 6.5CM barrel with Area419 hell fire adapter, and the Aero 17" competition chassis in OD Green, and a trigger tech special two stage.Has about 100 rounds through it and works great (and convinced a number of friends to get a Solus). Not interested in separating the action, barrel and chassis at this time.

Hey guys I’ve been going down the optics wormhole for a bit and I’m ready to put this to bed. I’m looking for scope recommendations for my new build. I’m getting a 6cm done up that’s going in an ACC elite as soon as the lefty versions are released. It’s going to be used at the range (800m max) and varmint hunting and the odd hunt which I’ll get it rebarreled for, no PRS or comps. I’m wanting something that’s FFP and MRAD.

I keep coming back to the NX8 4-32 and the Kahles 6-24. Anything else I should consider?

Selling a short action EH1 bedded for a TL3. Believe it’s swamp color but could be wrong. Ejection port has been filed open a little bit to fit (action not included, pic is just to show fit). So I'm scratching my head with this one and maybe it's self induced. This is with my XM3. The first groups it ever printed were astounding easily a 1/4 minute group with norma golden target 175gr. Since the first picture I had the flash hider loosen when trying to take the can off. Took it home and intended to torque it back in place with my barrel vice. I was missing my torque driver set so couldn't remove the barreled action from the stock or just didn't have the right hex screw. I decided to torque it down anyway. Since then it has printed groups like below. I'm starting to wonder if I damaged the bedding? I didn't see anything physically but it just has me perplexed. I thought maybe it's just me and I'm out of practice. However printed the 5 shot group in the attachments today with the LMT LM8 and I'm by no means a proficient gas gun guy.

Example A:

This was resighted with the norma in the center (horrid) and load development of 168gr TMKs over varget after remounting the flashider, Settled on 45.3gr. I since remounted and timed with the barrel in my barrel vice. Test seating depth today. Should've grouped the norma again but forgot to. The last two pics are setting depth groups I shot today.

Fairly new to the rifle building scene. Just wondering what brands you recommend that work with a terminus zeus action. Caliber is 308, i was thinking 24-26” full steel is preferable as the weight of the gun is not an issue. Thank you

Ok gents, hoping some of the experts here can help me. I got into reloading a little bit ago to try and bring down the cost associated with shooting my 308’s. I found some early success with my MK316 clone loads, and figured since I already had the press and a ton of old brass, I might as well try my hand at some 5.56 loading.

To begin with - I am not looking for match grade accuracy here, just decent range ammo and something to store away. I’m using mixed headstamp 5.56 brass, 55gr Armscor bullets, Remington SRB primers, and Ramshot TAC powder, all loaded to 2.25 COAL to match M193. I’ve tried quite a few different charge weights between 24.5 and 26 grs and honestly I’m pretty disgusted with my results. I have not been able to get a single 5 shot group, suppresses or unsuppressed, through any rifle or barrel (all of which are very decent - Geissele, Rainier CHF/CL Mountain, Colt SOCOM, etc) to measure less than 3.3 MOA. Most are between 4-5 MOA.

What am I missing here? Are these Armscor bullets just that bad? They were certainly cheap, but 4-5 minutes seems terrible to me. I haven’t crimped any of them, but that’s the next variable for me to test. I’m also planning on trying to bring my OAL back in to the book minimum of 2.20 after running it all the way out to 2.26 with no improvement. For context, my Rainier barrel shoots 2.7 minute groups with M193, .75 minute groups with MK262 and about 1 minute with some cheap 77gr Reman loads.

I’m just looking for a decent range load that will print 2-2.75 MOA groups like M193 will and that will come close to it in terms of velocity. Is that too much to ask for from mixed brass and cheap bullets? If not, is it this TAC powder? The lack of a crimp? Appreciate any advice you guys have. If these don’t print I can always chew them up at the 25 yard line, but it would be nice to make something decent with the rest of these bullets and brass.

I just got my SCAR20s back, after receiving the firing pin/bolt change for 6.5cm.

I've got a KNS diSCARder coming tomorrow and would like to mount an Omega 36M on it. Has anyone tried this combo? If so, any concern on backpressure?

Additionally, I've heard good things about the KNS gas plug, but am wondering if anyone hasn't been able to tame the SCAR20s suppressed with one installed. Anyone?

I have a new 300 Wby vanguard in Outfitter model . On its way to the local gun shop. I am used to shoot lite bullets out of my old 300 wby. I want to go heavier with this one. Has anyone tried this gun/bullet combo.

Looking for the best option for mounting the B&T Monopod (BT12-QK) to my LMT DMR 308 stock. I think I’ll need to cut/file down a portion of the stock in order to get the monopod to lock when closed. Has anyone made this modification? Is it better to install monopod forward and file/cut down the extension or install the monopod towards the rear and file/cut the stock?
