Up for sale is a factory Remington M24 with "RR" prefix serial number as you can see in the photo's. The rifle has a Leupold mark 4 3.5-10x40mm scope. This M24 comes with a list of items from the factory to include its factory accessory pelican case with assorted parts, tools and fasteners. It also has the factory flash hider that is shown in the photo of the rifle in the case. It also has a set of the factory Redfield Precision peep sights with interchangeable front sight which have almost always been lost or misplaced as they are seldomly used, but this one has them. It also has a spare firing assembly and to many other little fasteners to list here but if but rest assured that if you have a screw go missing on the rifle you have a spare. This is a Rare rifle and will make a great display piece in your collection or shooter on the range. Don't let this great M24 get away from you. Below are the photo's of what's included.

The Everyday Sniper Podcast: Defiance Action 18 Month Follow Up

It's been close to 18 months since Bob Beck and Eric Stecker bought Defiance Actions and it looked like the Internet was going to explode. The Internet drama machined ramped up into overdrive and since that time it's been pretty quiet.

During my last podcast with Team POI we touched on Defiance and what happened in terms of logistics and material support. Cole quickly changed the subject which lead to a phone call from Competition Shooter Nick Gardazi. Nick asked if I would open to having Bob Beck from Extreme Outer Limits on the show, which of course.

After a short back and forth, we landed, Nick, Bob and Eric on the Everyday Sniper podcast to talk about the transition during the initial moments they bought Defiance through today. Areas of discussion with this episode include:

There is a little bit of business talk when it comes too the financial reality of buying Defiance Actions, however this adds important context to the steps that were taken immediately afterward that angered the shooting community

This was an honest and open discussion, I did not feel anyone was overly defensive which to me was a good sign. And the anticipation of what they are doing moving forward as well as a look where they need to be as a team player.

The key was Builder Network, how does a company supply and manage the builder network as that is where the problems arise. Delays in stocks, delays in actions, delays in barrels all add up. The model is support the builder network with best practices moving forward and it looks like they have a plan.

You All Im sure have seen video where the shot hits the target and there seems to be a software showing the hits on a screen highlighting the hits and maybe saving the data? I cant seem to find any info in a quick search for how they do this. Ive seen it on F class videos and load development as well? Thanks for any help

Looking for feedback on this optic. My pursuit to find a higher magnification scope for my PredatOBR continues. I'd like to keep it under $1500, and there are certain features I want/need (Zero stop, good clear glass, a finer reticle). I like the PR3 reticle as it appears less obstructive to the field of view at higher magnification settings - which is appealing as I'm hunting small critters at distance.

I'm also considering the following scopes, and am curious as to the Hide's thoughts on this Leupold in comparison:

Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 DMR3 G4P
Primary Arms GLx 4.5-27x56 ACSS Athena BPR MIL
Primary Arms GLx 6-24x50 ACSS Athena BPR MIL

I'd love to snag a Nightforce NX8 or ATACR, but the budget doesn't allow for these right now.

I do have access to MIL/LEO discounts.

Any input is appreciated. Main use is hunting varmints out to 500+ yards. Currently I have a PA GLx 2.5-10x44 and I'm finding it tough to get a good POA when chucks are 350+ yards out - hence my want for a higher magnification scope.

I have a 6-24x50 on another rifle that works well for wood chucking.

Shouldn't BTO the same for every projectile?
Same chamber.
I don't see why it'd be different from bullet to bullet, unless the comparitor insert isn't contacting the actual start of the ogive but is instead in a thou.
I remember Eric Cortina saying he had a method that worked for multiple projectiles in the same barrel. Never looked into it further.

But for me, and several chambers I'm loading for, no 2 projectiles have the same measurement.

I've seen both positions being used in various images both here and on the rest of the interwebs. What is the advantage of having the legs fold forward - assuming the bipod only has a 90 degree rotation capability.

Is it so that when you load the legs, you don't run the risk of them collapsing in from the spring? I've been working on loading my Harris bipod at the range before taking my shots, and didn't think there was ever enough pressure to cause the legs to fold back?
