SOLD Sig Sauer 10K Kilo Binos

I am selling a pair of Sig Kilo 10K binos. I have used these for the past year for NRL and team matches. They have been used but still work 100% like new. They show a little sign of wear, with some dust and dirt in the hard-to-reach places. It also comes with a carry case and a harness. Recently came back from sig with a clean bill of health and some maintenance on the eye cups

Lightweight, heavy cal hunting rifle thoughts?

Hello everyone,

Pretty new here, just getting into precision with one custom rifle. But planning my next build to start in the spring.
This rifle would be more or less a “do it all” in North America. Everything from Brown bear to Elk.

First pass thoughts:
- ARC CDG lightweight action
- Standard sporter barrel - ~22” (maybe 24”) - premium - proof, brux, etc etc
- Stock/chassis undecided, but light
- Suppressed (my hearing is already bad, I know a brake is lighter)
- Vortex Razor LHT 3-15
- Vortex PMR
- Cal - biggest consternation here, really liking the 338 Norma for its ability to fit in a standard LA and ridiculousness factor. 300’s are appealing too, but I don’t own any 338’s, so leaning that direction.

When I piece this together, it’s roughly 8ish lbs. Any thoughts on setup? One of my concerns with going too light on the stock is that suppressed, it might be very nose heavy.

Magazine options for Bergara B-14 Squared Crest Carbon in 7mm PRC

I recently purchased a Bergara B-14 Squared Crest Carbon chambered in 7mm PRC. It comes with a 5 round CIP Accurate-Mag Magazine. My only complaint with this rifle so far is this magazine, as it's louder and clunkier than I would like. I've been trying to explore if there are alternative options to use for this rifle such as something polymer. To my understanding all the other chamberings of this rifle are fitted and equipped with AICS mags/compatibility. Without having to buy a bunch of mags and attempt my own trial and error, does anyone have input or advise on this?? Any wisdom would be appreciated.

New Build advice

Kicking around the idea of doing a build in 7-08 for the wife. Mainly hunting whitetail, hogs, yotes, etc... but she is also showing an interest in shooting these days and going with me sitting behind my 6.5CM. Most of the time shooting steel and paper out to about 600 or so. I am thinking a Defiance Ruckus in Medium length action and pairing it with a Proof Carbon 22" 1:8.4 twist and slapping it into a lightweight adjustable carbon stock.

I was hoping to get some feedback from you guys on my choices. Also don't quite know what final coating to go on this rig when done or to just get the action in black nitride when I order it and leave the proof as is. Still in the planning phases of this for now but I don't want it to be too damn heavy for her to carry in the deer woods.

Thanks in advance.

Precision AR -15 10 shot moa groups

So I put together a non clone correct SPR type upper and have been struggling to get the groups I had hoped for. Trying to get some feedback from some more seasoned shooters regarding gas gun accuracy shooting. I mainly have shot bolt action when trying for precision and so I’m not sure what to expect realistically. I’m trying to do some basic load development using 77 gr OTM from Mid South Shooters. I’m loading new Starline brass with Varget and CCI 400 primers. Rifle is 18 inch PRI Douglas stainless MK 12 barrel 1:8 twist Geissele Mark 18 Arca handguard on BCM upper receiver matched to my BCM lower with Geissele 2 stage trigger. Using B5 Sopmod stock with a bag rider. Shooting prone with bipod on front and rear bag. Optic is Meopta Optika 6 3-18X 50 in ADM Recon mount. taking my time and shooting groups at 100 yards, checking all the boxes of solid position, breathing, trigger control, follow through, ect…most groups have been larger than moa. I have one sub moa 10 shot group so far in 200 rounds of attempting my best. I can shoot in the 3’s with my Tikka CTR 308, but don’t know what the deal is so far with this gun ammo optic and shooter combination. Any thoughts? Maybe I should try some 75 gr Hornady or some 69 SMK, but not really blown away so far with this barrel. I’m not saying it’s not just me shooting poorly. I hear a lot of people online claiming 1/2 moa groups with precision gas guns so I’m thinking I have a dud, but then I watch 9 hole reviews comparing a PRI douglas to a BCM 18 inch 1:8 and their best 9 shot group was 1.3 inches with factory Match ammo…I’m fairly new to precision shooting, reloading and especially precision gas guns, so what’s some thoughts dudes of the more seasoned variety? What should I focus on?

High BC but slow FPS vs. faster, lower BC bullet question

Having to choose between say, Bergers 153 and their 140 in the 6.5cm; The heavier bullets have a higher bc but the 140 will get to the target sooner. I know shot group size kind of trumps most every other attribute but which attribute here helps with bucking the wind at a 1000 better, the BC advantage of the 153 or the shorter time of flight of the 140?
Anyone try both at a grand?
