My wife and I are going to be shooting and RO’ing this match. This is a bucket list match for us. One of our favorite states.

Just curious who shot this last year. If you have any insights into the location, terrain, lodging, and the match in general. Especially if you RO’d. curious how shooting 24 stages in one day went for you .

Seems like a decent drive out to the match location every morning. Might stay in portales or Clovis. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of camping/lodging up toward the actual match location.

For those who’ve seen prior posts, this was supposed to be a cheap winter hobby… long story short, someone (@PrecisionWerk) convinced me to try shooting the local matches, now I’m drowning in the shallow end!

For the last two years I've been shooting 2-gun matches, and having a blast. A few months ago I picked up a Bergara B14R. This past Saturday I shot my first PRS Rimfire match, and love it. Now I'm looking at putting a better barrel on the Bergara, since it's already in an ARC Xylo chassis.

Does anyone have experiences with either the KI Precision Bergara barrel or the Bergara Heavy Barrel sold by A&J?

any one know of any that work? several little fans on market pushing ambient air thru the bore . had 1 and it was useless. pushing ambient air (95+ here in summer) is pretty much a non starter. any other devices on the market or knowledge about making one?

Unfortunately just got orders to WA state for a few years. Coming from the SE, where BLM land etc isn’t a thing. Whats the rules/regs on shooting on BLM land. I looked up the rules for the national Forrest’s and it basically says not near houses but otherwise go at it. Is it really as easy as just finding some open areas and setting up steel? What am I missing? Any and all help/advice would be greatly appreciated
