Accessories Sons of Liberty L89 13.75" mlok rail Price drop 3/23

I've got a brand new 13.75" example of the premium SOLGW L89 rail for AR15. 7075 aluminum. Upgraded from the M89 with 7 side mlok, Steel QD sockets and a Titanium Barrel nut.
Still features the best in class wedgelock attachment method with 3 separate wedges locking it to the barrel nut and the silky smooth anodizing of all SOLGW's stuff.
Has a couple tiny flaws, one corner of the front end is slightly flattened and there are two tiny dents in the pic rail(shown in pics). Barely worth mentioning, but on such a premium product wanted to call them out

Firearms Ultimatum Deadline Actions..PRICE DROPS 3/23

I've got a couple Ultimatum Deadline Actions
Really only looking to sell one.
1 is practically like new, Asking $1015 OBO
The other has more use and has some slight cosmetic issues (slight blotchiness in the nitride) but is one of the smoothest actions I've handled.
Asking $965 OBO for that one.

Also have some additional bolt heads and possibly barrels if someone is interested.
PM if interested,
Thanks

Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

Shot a match with the owner of recoilx this past fall where he had one of his prototype units and it caught my interest. I had a chance to buy a unit this last week and took it up for some testing.

Overall it performs really well... obviously slight noise penalty but very effective. I felt like it was pretty close to the best of both worlds between shooting fully suppressed vs just a brake only.

I was able to stay on target in the glass through the full recoil off a few positions and can't wait to try it on a bigger 30 cal soon.

I was using a silencerco hybrid 46 with their 30 cal self timing brake.

On a gas gun 223 it had noticably less back pressure than just my front end cap alone which I thought was interesting.

Seems like a legit option for those of us with cans already vs buying something like the maverick straight up. I have been primarily shooting a tbac can but will probably run a can with a Recoilx brake on it this season.

Not affiliated in anyway with recoilx but I think the owner is a stand up guy from my interactions with him and I like supporting solid products from good folks.

Athlon Cronus 50L-640 Thermal Scope

I'm looking at getting a nice thermal scope. Is the Athlon Cronus 50L-640 thermal a good deal at $3,500. I'm sure the top of the line Pulsar is better but it looks like this Athlon is about as good as the second best Pulsar. The only thing that looks like it isn't quite as good is the field of view for the Athlon is listed at 8.8x6.6. Any opinions?

group by on M40a1 barrels

So a couple of guys asked me about doing a group buy on M40A1 pattern barrels. Most guys if they want one they just order one.

So I'll throw it out there to see if there is any interest in a group buy and my thoughts on the two options.

The two options are but I only want to settle on one of each.

First is the contour....My 40a1 spec build I did the barrel contour to the A1 prints. Which is a .875" muzzle +/-.010". Breech length is 4" at 1.2" diameter.

I was given an original A1 barrel by Mr. Land. It was a used take off. If I recall correctly the muzzle is around .900". I'll double check tonight when I get home.

So that's the first question is the muzzle diameter. What would you guys want? .875" or .900".

2nd question.... number of grooves for rifling? Prints for all the A1 thru A3 barrels called out 4 groove, or 5 (which most likely means 5R but they never put the "R" on the prints. They still do that with the 6.5CM barrels and 300 and 338 Norma but the spec is 5R) or 6.

I'd prefer to do the 5R but give me your thoughts.

Later, Frank
Bartlein Barrels

I did mine with the 5R

Sgt of Arms? Still in Business?

I myself like several other people have had countless issues with getting in contact with Sgt of Arms about rifles we ordered. Does anyone have any contact info besides [email protected] or their phone number 817-668-0433? I guess that email and phone number doesn't work since they can't reply to any of my emails or voicemails. It's been over 13 months since I placed my order. I heard on October 3rd that I'd have my rifle in 5-6 weeks. After that didn't happen I heard on February 7th that I would have it in 5-6 weeks again. Obviously that didn't happen again. I've been constantly emailing and calling the last several weeks without any response. I just want an honest update or my money back. I'm so over this company.

I would either like to sell this gun turn key or the bare gun. I'm not interested in parting out unless I can get the base gun or barreled action and chassis sold. The complete rifle has 440 rounds on it and has made impacts out to 2754. It has a Jard trigger , lumely arms bolt lift kit, anarchy outdoors bolt handle and knob, the action has been smoothed timed along with the firing pin ramp smoothed out and the firing pin drop corrected. MOA comeback?

Recently while viewing Youtube videos on long range shooting, I have been surprised by the number or references made to the use of MOA versus MIL. Then when exploring Fierce Firearms, I learned they typically mount MOA scopes as that is what the largest segment of their customers desire. So I was just curious if I am just imagining this reversal in optic trends or if in fact MOA is making a comeback?

PVA Prefit Spring Group Buy 2025

We are announcing our Spring Group Buy 2025. The Hide loved it last year for 6mm's and we're trying something a little different this year to accomodate the requests for different calibers. Since we can't really do a GB each month we decided to run a bunch of calibers in different bore sizes with a set quantity of each. 22, 6, 6.5, 7 and 30 cals

There are 100 barrels available total, when the SKU is gone it's gone. For example if someone wants a 6mm 7.5tw and there are only 6mm 7tw options left in the drop down then the 7.5's are already sold and the remaining option is to use 7tw or skip the GB.

A little side story: I've been running faster twist options in my personal barrels (22-7, 6mm-7, 6.5mm-7.5) for a lot of years now and I've never had anything but exceptional results with them. Especially the 6mm's with a 7tw, they've been fantastic for me since 2014 when I switched into a faster twist.

Here's the GROUP BUY LINK
