My Bergara LRP Elite .308 came with pre-installed 20 MOA rail which I was in process of upgrading (unknown origin for the rail). Upon receiving Seekins Precision rail I was surprised to find out that hole spacing on my bergara premier action does not line up at all.

My Rem 700 clone action has the following hole spacing:
Between 2 front holes (muzzle facing) = 0.862" (standard for Rem 700 SA)
Between 2 real holes = 0.862" (non standard, expected distance 0.607" for Rem 700 SA)
Distance between center holes (2nd and 3rd overall) = 3.25" (non standard, expected 3.627 for Rem 700 SA)
This action uses 8-40 screws as expected for Bergara.

Called Bergara and they were also unsure and offered to free ship barreled action for their gunsmith inspection with turnaround time 6-7 weeks.

Have you heard of this issue with Bergara premier actions? Does that hole spacing sound like any other know hole spacings for other actions?

Otherwise its a great action, currently installed in MDT LSS XL, I am happy with the rifle.

Did they open up the new range in WV? Anyone shoot there yet?

I've been away from shooting for a while and it seems Nordic Components has completely dropped all of their AR handguards and accessories that accompany them.

I have the NC-1 handguard on 2x setups....longer one on my 18 in WOA SPR AR and shorter on a .300 BO setup.

It also seems everywhere online is sold out of the add on pic rail sections.

The question is......do the pic rail sections that JP sells work on Nordic Components round handguards?

Ive had the misfortune of doing so. I have their O2 lite rail... After swapping it around a few times and making sure to not overtighten, the steel screws stripped in the aluminum barrel nut... No biggie.. I reach out and they send out the parts to replace it. Except, they dont send all the parts.. Its a 2 piece barrel nut.... So, I reach back out, they're cool and send me the missing barrel nut piece.... except.......they send me one for a 308.......... and it wont work.

This will be my 2nd trip back to UPS for them as I have to send all broken or wrong pieces back to them and my rifle has been down for 2 weeks..

I love the rail, but someone on the other side of the computer screen is a little we-tod-ded

Hey guys,

I picked up a few of the above titled bullets because I've heard they're fantastic.

I loaded up a bunch and started doing a ladder test for velocity nodes. I ran through about 50 rounds in my testing.

I went to load up a another batch to test and I was getting this ring at 2.8 COAL. What in the holy heck is this? There is a visible line on every bullet. I can also feel the line when I run a fingernail over it. The line is consistently in the same place on every loaded round that I made. (I only made 3 before I noticed).

I'm using a Zero press with a Redding Competition S series micrometer seating die.

I knew I wanted the Bergara BMR-X in steel but I wanted the green stock instead that comes on the carbon model. So I purchased both of them and swapped stocks. I did fire this one 20 times to function check it. Ran flawless. Barrel is threaded 1/2x28. Comes with box and both 5 & 10 round mags. $650 shipped

Looking for some suggestions on a helmet mounted thermal for detection 100-600 yards, hogs/coyote. USA company only.

Shooting with a PVS-30 so looking mainly for detection kicked back in a blind hunting, but somewhat interested if it can be also mounted as an optic for a buddy rifle.

One I considered already is Nox-35 since I am mainly scanning pretty long ranges, anyone mount this on a helmet for hands free scanning when stationary or is this heavy as hell for that?
